I wore a 67 year old guy out! I am getting some muscle cramps in my arms from fatiguing    I think I'll sleep better tonight, or be up with spasming muscles?

Too cold to shoot outside. Ran a bunch of errands, mostly. Lunch at Freddy’s (the #4 combo, not what I’d call healthful stuff, but...).

Kindasorta airgun related was buying a 5-lb “pug” of duct seal. Intended application isn’t airgunny at all, but I first read about duct seal from airgunners’ posts. Thanks!

An ancient, beat-up aluminum baking pan has been retired from kitchen duty. If there’s any leftover duct seal, it’s going to line that pan and I’ll tape cardboard targets on the front. Anything gets eyed as potential target or backer now.

The sheer audacity to put a stand on property marked everywhere "No Hunting" is surprising, but our builder said there is a hunt club that used to have permission to hunt the woods on his farm once upon a time, but they got into hot water.  A couple of members of the same group were caught poaching (spotlighting and shooting deer after dark out of season from trucks while trespassing!) on game-cams.

I might put up some cams of my own before I removed any stands on my property.... at least through one season. Make them pay for more than just the cost of a stand.

I have issues with folks trespassing, especially for hunting without permission.  But poaching/lamping/shooting from a vehicle should not be a fine, it should be perma-hunting-license-ban + forfeit of gun ownership rights.  There's implied level of trust and respect for the law; flagrant disregard should equivocate to severe penalties.

Took the day off work.  Mom needs to do some shopping and wants to get my dad something for Christmas.  She needs assistance so it’s just me and her this afternoon.  Well run wherever she needs to go and I’m sure we will grab a snack or lunch while we are out.  Her birthday is this coming Saturday (72).  So glad to have my people still around. 

Last night we went to my MILs (84) place and had a small holiday be together with her.  It was a nice time.  We were trying to get a picture while we were on a speaker call to an uncle so grandma wasn’t quite “in the moment”. Ha ha!

Been trying to clear up the headlight lenses on my old 07 Ford ranger. The right one looks better and we'll see how the left one turns out.

Just took a slow leisurely stroll though the woods on the atv trail down to the barn. Then I walked the dirt road and up the driveway back. Beautiful sunny 60 degree day outside. Strange, I didn't see one critter out, I figure they would be out gathering for the cold season coming.

I picked up my mother and we visited my father.  I think it made both their days    I took back-roads coming home just to reflect on my own life and how things have faired.  My complaints are very few even considering my ex took over half my retirement.  As Sonja says, I bought my way to freedom from that troll.

I had to go to town for my parents.  I visited the pharmacy, a Walmart, and two grocery stores.  The dogs have been for a long walk today and two long sessions with the tennis ball and frisbee.  All three of them are passed out in a total stupor.  Now I get to start relaxing.

I don’t play the “I need a phone because all of my friends do” game.  Life carries on without everyone having a phone in their pocket. 🦾

That would be me too Brett if I didn't have a hog problem. That's the only reason I got a smart phone was for picture notifications from the trail cams. Way better than waking up every hour and a half patrolling the property for hogs. I did that for years and I was downright loco from all the lack of sleep.

We have 3 phones.  Mine, hers and a spare that the kids use when they are going to be out and we need to be in contact with them.  The rest of the “kids” are 18 or older and can have their own phones.  Dad (me) isn’t buying one for everyone.

We have a landline and one cell phone. The cell sits on my side table and we only take it with us when one or both of us leave the house. Anyone that may need to contact us in an emergency knows to call the house phone first. They leave a message if we don't answer then try the cell.

We carry radios at work.  Sometimes the radios don't work so great.  So the management has gotten in the habit of calling us on our cells rather than use the radio.  I got tired of all my cell minutes being used by the boss so I started leaving it at home and forcing them to use the radios.  They got on me about it at the last staff meeting and I shut them down.  They carry state cell phones. Mine is private.  They issue me a radio that I have to carry.  They can call it.

I ain't done squat yet today so I guess that qualifies as "not air gun related".
