I bought us a new (used) washing machine and dropped off my Class A's at the dry cleaners while the memsahib visited the dentist.  We had lunch at our favorite mex joint and stopped off at Wally world on the way home.   We just hooked the washer up and tested it.  So far so good. My parents have taken their motor home off to camp with friends through  the weekend so I have no further obligations today.  I'm headed for the back pasture with the pack of dogs and a tennis ball!

Went up to the hospital for a PT evaluation and rescheduling of future workouts. Rested a bit then went to Walmart for some wine and other stuff.  Next, we went to CVS for Marjo's ready prescription.  Now we're home in front of the TV watching reports of our once great country coming apart.  The weather woman tells us the temperature will be in the sunny 70's by the weekend.  If so, it'll be shooting time.

Yard work and also spent too much time in the garage attic.   It's full of stuff, some of it is cool stuff.   Most of it has to go no matter how cool the stuff is.   Shuffled around some model RR stuff that belonged to my FIL.   No one in the family is interested in it.  Why do I get stuck with getting rid of it.   I think every computer we've owned since Apple 2 days is up there.    A really nice assortment of CRT monitors will be available at the town dump.   There is no AG stuff up there,,, that I know of.

I put some more miles on Belle with a tennis ball and the Chuk-it.  I ran her hard.  Even got Flash to join in.  A tired puppy is a good puppy.

I went fishing for about three hours but the tide was against me.  No joy.

I took the memsahib to her favorite garden supply and bought two yards of compost for the garden.

Brought it home and unloaded it all by hand.

I have to go out of town next week and I wanted to get all the heavy work done for her before I leave.

Went to Desert Hot Springs Spa, swam, floated, spent some time in the Sauna and Jacuzzi, and relaxed with my wife. We ate at the Spa's restaurant. We met a lady that lives about 10 miles from us there too. We stayed until 6:00 PM and had great traffic flow on the I-10 West- 65-78mph   all the freeway and good the rest of the way home flowed too. I did see two idiots cutting people off weaving in and out trying to mess it up for everyone but happily they failed this time.

For the past two weekends my son and I have been working in the deer hunting woods and cut over. Bushhogging, planting, clearing trails, moving and repairing tree stands, putting up ground stands. Today we'll be repairing the door on a two-man shooting house.

Yesterday I put some camouflage material around the cab of my buggy.

With the windshield folded down I'll be able to rest my rifle on the foam-covered bar I installed at the pivot point of the windshield.

It's a Gilly Suit with bog tires.  I love it!

Yeah it's a self propelled hunting blind. All it needs is a catalytic heater and a bathroom.

I started my morning off, yesterday, with grading the driveway. It’s getting easier to do with the tractor and getting flatter. It came out real nice. I spent the rest of the day putting together the electric faux fireplace and cabinet setup for my wife in the living room. I know, I should’ve taken pictures. Maybe later.

I have a porta poty @ my hunting site usually there until the end of Nov., the way the game was running around yesterday, I may just prop the door open and wait right in there

Sunday school, church, fellowship, straighted up shop so we could move around the pool table, played, visited with a daughter and her husband, played more pool.  The boys are still out there playing now, I'm inside chilling and Mrs. P is on the computer editing photos.

John that looks good and I like the staggered kitchen tiles too. I have similar tiles but they're not staggered like yours which I would prefer.

I got the mower out and blew/chopped a bunch of leaves. Then Betty Lou and I raked and moved a bunch more to a burn pile. I replaced a missing and another loose screw on one of the bar stools. I didn't even know there was an issue until Betty Lou told me about it today. After that I did more cleaning up in the Red Shed. Tomorrow I plan of finishing the leaves. I may put fire in that burn pile... depending on the wind. That pile is going to smoke like crazy.
