Worked on chicken stuff, made new feeders. Tomorrow it's repair and upgrade the water system. Didn't get to the mowing, the chicken feeders took a little extra time to complete. I will eventually get the mowing done this week.

Cut brush and ran the mower out to my 50 yard backstop which was getting to be invisible behind the forest undergrowth.

I was scratching around in the several years old leaves and fallen debris around the property and discovered 3 20' sections of 1 1/4" pvc water pipe. The redneck Yankee hillbilly that lives within me instantly took over. Without as much as a second thought I knew exactly what I would do with them.
Tarp... check.
Banding strap... check.
Conduit stakes... check.
20' cane poles... check.
Zip ties... check.
ATV shelter... done and done.

Nice job on the ATV shelter Bill. I have been doing the same with hurricane salvaged material. A lot of things have been fixed with it.

At least it's not attached to a 10x10 chain link dog pen. That thing flew almost a 100 yards and bent the top rail of the chain link fencing we had around part of our 5 acres in Lucerne valley CA.

I don't mind stoners at all.  I don't mind drinkers (alcoholics are another story).  What I do mind are people are people with no integrity.  The fellow employee of mine should have been pushing the customer's admin team to make data consistent, since that's literally his job.

He's got a target on his back from management with a couple bullseyes already.

Anyway, we're both off work now.  Sonja's day wasn't any better, but we got each other plus 3 dogs and 3 cats, so we can't complain too loudly.

Yeah, I do alot of that around here. Who knows, I may take it down and do something else within a week. Remember, I put the lean to on the Red Shed to park the ATVs in. It was just annoying to back them out to shoot at the targets on that side of the shed. Too much time on my hands... but I ain't complaining about that.

Take a look at dirt bike googles. They have the foam around the edges to keep the dust out but have foam covered vent holes to keep the area around your eyes cooler and the foam will absorb the sweat. Just be warned you're in for sticker 🫨🫨 lol.

I've got to go out and mow the leaves.  I mow over them a couple times (to chop them up) and then vacuum them up for the mulch pile.    I'll be doing this regularly until it snows.   I've been mowing for well over half a century and sometimes I get tired of it.   But if I lived in a no-need-to-mow condo, I wouldn't be able to shoot in my back yard.

You have the mulch blades and deck plug? If you mow over enough times there's no need to rake. In the spots with thick leaves that can take several laps. Finally if needed I take the plug out and mow the leftovers to spread them where you no longer can notice them.

Yes, I've got the plug and mulcher blade.   Many times I've thought I should do  as you suggested, maybe this year.   Our gardens sure appreciate the leaf compost.

I was at a craft show a few years ago where a lady had tied her lawnchair to the support leg of an Easy-Up awning to help ballast it in the gusty winds.  A good gust blew the awning over and drug her thirty feet on her back.
