 Those shoes I usually just wear for an hour or two and they don't bother me because they have a lot of give, but they do fit tighter than the shoes I wear daily. My daily wear have steel toes and I decided not to wear them because of the metal detector and extra attention I got the first day with them. It was not a big deal but I thought it would just be faster to wear ones without steel toes. 


 I didn't see snug fitting shoes on the pre-approved excuse list.

I pulled the carburetor out of the older Poulan P3816 chainsaw that I inherited when my BIL passed to make sure I was ordering the right one. Then I placed the order for a new one complete with gaskets, lines, primer bulb and filter. $11.88 to my door.
The lines were hard, brittle and broken so I knew there was a good chance the carb was gunked and plugged. I ordered the carb for the Honda 4 tine tiller I got from him that was in the same condition several months ago. I got it from the same Ebay source and it worked perfectly so I am confident.

Bill good luck keeping that poulon pro running you're going to need it. I had their weed eater, pole saw and blower none of which ran good for long until always needing another fix. Too much tinkering required for me to want to ever deal with that brand again. Echo and Stihl haven't done me wrong yet after running them for years.

The biggest issue with chainsaws for me is the idle time between uses. I need to start draining it after use and storing it in a case so the bugs don't lay eggs in it.

I use Stihl 2 smoke oil and haven't had a problem with my echo chainsaw, Stihl weed Wacker, or my Husqvarna 16" chainsaw. The 2 smoke oil has fuel stabilizer in it and keeps the carb from gunking up. I've let them sit unused for 6-8 months and they fire right up. Yeah, you pay more for it but IMHO it's worth it to not have to work on it before using it.

Someone told me that the alcohol free fuels are the way to go for small engines like mowers, chain saws, outboards, etc.  I wish they had told me that before I had problems with my outboard a few years back.  Yes, I did run it often; but it still got 'gunked up'.

I have ordered more parts from Ebay than anywhere else. I am in the process by the weekend to do maintenance on the Tohatsu outboard motor on my boat, it's time for an impeller and thermostat to be replaced. If I had gone to a marine dealer, it would have cost me an arm and a leg for the parts.

Mike, I go through the same, it's non ethenol in the outboad and yes I still clean the carb out if has been sitting a while, if there is any residue left behind it will plug up the jets. It doesn't hurt to do a once over before you hit the water, I would rather it die in the yard than at a boat ramp full of unhappy people.

Had laser surgery in my shootin' eye this morning.   I'll know how successful the surgery was in a day or two.   Right now I can read with that eye, haven't tried shooting yet.   Maybe this procedure will turn me into an Olympian shooter,  maybe not.

I had 3 of the 10' x 6' tall chain link dog kennel panels left over so I'm putting a closed in lean to on the Red Shed. I'll use it to store the lawn tractor and other outdoor stuff that don't belong in the Red Shed.
I love reperposing stuff. We had an 12' picnic table that I am taking apart to use the wood for the structural parts.
Overall it will give me a 10' x 18' enclosed area with a roof over it.

I know that's right! Trying to save money buying all that poulon junk only cost me money and a lot of anger in the end. Should've paid more and bought echo/stihl to begin with. Live and learn.

When we first moved here to Killer's place we brought 4 10' sections of weathered privacy fence and closed off one end of the barn with it. This morning I went down and dismantled it so I can use the structural parts of it for the Red Shed lean to. I also located enough, or nearly enough tin roofing for it.

i actually thought about both but no, just the fencing in three sides with the split that you see on that end.  I may stain the boards but the stain is $200 and not necessary.

I made a deal with the memsahib and my half involved trimming trees around the property and clearing brush off the split rail fence.  Just a little judicious use of the pole saw so my back and shoulders seem okay.  I’ll know for sure tomorrow.

I was just staying off my feet mostly. It seems that a while back when that toe was smashed that it damaged the nail bed and now the nail is starting to come off. It is not attached at the back.
