Just finished leveling the travel trailer. Then we cleaned up the inside of the tundra. Next I have to move the new book case into the bedroom and anchor it to the wall as it's around 6 feet tall and we have moron dogs who will knock it over. This one is the most likely to do it.

Greg it's across the street from the mall on 69 by 323 hidden in the back corner of the shopping center where the jewelry store and gun store are at. Round buffet with a big yummy selection! I looked for that Hong Kong buffet online but couldn't find it. Where's it at? I saw Chings somewhere but never tried it so that needs to change as well.

Spent a bunch of time on the phone and on hold with two pharmacies. I was trying to locate my prescriptions that were at a Rite Aid pharmacy that was purchased buy Walgreens and then closed down. Supposedly my prescriptions were transferred to Walgreens a location 3 miles further away from me, but they say they  "don't have them per se".


 The webpage were I usually can access them says they were transferred to Walgreens, but Walgreens says they don't have them and the other Rite Aid can't fill them because the prescriptions were transferred to Walgreens. I had to call my Doctor's office and have them send new prescriptions to a new location of Rid Aid pharmacy of my choice.


  I think if I missed my meds I would get by for a while without any serious immediate issues but, there are people who if they missed theirs it could be fatal. I actually am out of two meds now so hopefully this mess is fix soon.

I did something amazing (for me) today.   In the 95 degree heat, I washed the minivan.   I normally leave car washing to a higher authority but every couple years I attack the worst of the tree sap and caked on dirt with soapy water whether it needs it or not.  There is still a black dirt strip about a foot wide that runs down the middle of the roof which I couldn't reach.  But it's invisible unless you are over 6'-6" tall.

I worked on the landscaping around the lodge all day.  I wore my back brace and did the string trimming in short spurts.  In between I drove the zero turn and used a blower.  In that fashion I was able to trim and mow all around the lodge in anticipation of a big wedding there tomorrow without putting myself in traction.  The other guys got the short straw and they spent the day shovelling a couple of dump truck loads of pine bark mulch at the play ground.  In a few minutes I'll be taking the pups for their evening amble around the pasture but that is airgun related.

Sam that's the smart way to do it mixing up tasks instead of completing each one before moving to the next one. Such a relief to ride the mower a little while before getting back to the hard labor.

Killed a ton of fire and crazy ants, weed eated and blew off the clippings then mulched them with the mower. Cleaned the pool after that. Found another dead baby rat in the skimmer which makes around 8 this year. I wish the coyotes would kill the momma too mercy she gets around.

Sitting at America's tire getting a tire replaced. Wife hit a rock wrong and ripped a big hole in it.😡😡 10 ply off road tire and a rock punctured it.🤬🤬🤬🤬

It was discount tire not America's tire. They replaced it under road hazard but charged me $69 for a new road hazard. Not bad for a new BFG ko2 tire.

Took the day off work.  Put ribs on the smoker those morning.  Went to the rodeo this afternoon.  Ate ribs afterwards.  Now I'm chilling on the couch in a horizontal position.

Yesterday my son had a private family only wedding at the park.
Today I watched Coach Prime shatter Nebraska and then spent the evening with by sister for her birthday.

My Dad used to call a really tough a day a "two bottle day".  That's what you wanted to drink afterwards.

Yesterday was productive for a Saturday.
 I have been folding up cardboard boxes an stuffing them in to one big one for a while, took the whole pack to the recycling center.
While I was at it, took 3 big garbage bags of old targets (cans) to cash in the aluminum, got a whoping $3.80.
 Then paid $25 to properly dispose on an old mattress and box spring.

With all that done by noon I went to the local car show on Main Street.
Spent a few hours there with a buddy I grew up with and his '71 Chevelle he has had since High School ('79).
190 cars registered and filled all 4 blocks. Completely closed Main street and I got to see some amazing cars I did not know were local.
It was AWESOME!

Then, after 4:00 I noticed there was no wind... dead calm. So I brought out the bench and tried zero'ing in my new Deer Rifle before season hits.

All in all it was a glorious day here.

Summer is over and I am about wore out.  I got up at 0630 this a.m. and called work.  Told them not to expect me.  Then I went back to bed til noon.  Summer is the most intense season for the FPS.  Hammer and anvil, ten hours a day, six days a week.  So my constitution annually gives out every September and I'm sick for a week.  I'm starting a little early this year.  Usually this happens at the end of September.
