Went in this AM for endoscopy and colonoscopy.Up at 0130 to finish prep........now just gonna chill out and..................eat!
Took my dog to the groomers for a bath and grooming. He's a real pretty-boy now.
Well I did something pretty stupid today. I was driving a Kawasaki Mule across the picnic area with a volunteer in the passenger seat. I got a little tunnel vision negotiating a curb and drove right out in front of a moving truck. Failure of situational awareness. Fortunately the truck driver was on the ball and almost missed us. But not quite. He clipped the front end of the mule and sent it spinning like a top. The volunteer and I were both violently ejected. For just an instant I flashed back to my mountain biking days. Then I hit the ground. Yep. Just like my mountain biking days.Harold and I were a little scraped up but otherwise okay. The plastic front end of the Kawasaki is ripped off but the frame and suspension were undamaged so I drove it back to the shop. LE got involved and I’m at fault so I got a ticket. Fortunately the fine is insignificant and I can probably get the points droppedNow I’m at home with ice on my knee.

I post this as a cautionary tale. I'm calling it a senior moment. It is a wake-up call for me that my situational awareness and my reflexes are no longer sufficient to safeguard me from my own stupidity. Gotta start paying more attention.
Well Bow Pipe Sam. There but but for the grace go I Yes I believe in guardian angels Today I went ro the marina to do some maintenance. Dirty stuff so i went to the toilet bock for a scrub up. The lighting in the wash room is pretty good and the mirror over the basins is clean and big There staring bacj at me was a craggy ild coute that does not look as flash as he thought At least my dog thinks I alright Come on fess up when did you last take a good look
I spent the day outside fiddling around and did a little more mock-up assembling to the '69 CT90 while I wait for a new wiring harness and battery to come, they are supposed to get here next week. I pushed it out back for some better pics.

The worst in SO CA looks to be east of the mountain range that I am just west of. The latest I have seen for us to the west of the mountains is just 2-3" and winds of "maybe up to 30 mph" likely just 15 mph. Although our forecast reporters are hanging on with hopes of a disaster and stretching out the story the best they can, LOL. There still could be damage danger of flash flooding here and near here though. Our ocean temps are mostly in the mid 60's to low 70's and it looks like it mostly goes east across Baja.
