I am the cheapest plumber I could find. So I got to repair the toilet in the #1 bathroom this morning. Parts = $7.06 Labor = PRICELESS!
My wife and I strive to buy all purchases in paper, metal, or glass. Some stuff yer just stuck with plastic~What did I do today? I spent the early morning working on the Statesman mower and found the root of the problem... a blade safety switch with a broken plunger that somehow had a path to ground causing all sorts of weirdness. I couldn't believe how much "stuff" was packed in around the hidden parts of the wiring harness- and this is after pressure-washing and blowdowns with compressed air. I didn't do anything major until after 6:30 AM since that's when my neighbors head to work. Right now I'm just watching data shuffle around as I try to NOT scream at our Implementation Team- they're very firmly instructed to not let customers change certain data points but once again, those things changed and I have to reinvent the wheel. But ya know what? I'm getting paid to sit here and stare at this stuff so c'est la vie. Some days I wish I could snap my fingers and voila! Have things just magically work. But where's the fun in that?
Stuck in the penalty box. Again!
