Finally started to patch the holes that were made to run some lights in the house.  Took the car in for its 10000 mile service.  Coffee out with Mrs. P.  Played pool with pops.  Moving and stacking firewood.  Just had a snack and chilling for a few.  Probably round up some boys and get busy with some more wood.

Finished stacking the wood that has already been split.  Still more to split and stack.  It goes fast with helpers

According to the bottle just headache but it's that one where if the intended effect last too long you're supposed to see the doctor.

The oil change on the lawn tractor was a success and by the looks of the old oil, much needed.
I meant to buy a new spark plug but forgot. Apparently I wasn't thinking at all because I didn't get a gas or air filter either..   
Oh well, I have to go back to town Monday to renew truck tags... I'll grab them then.

I finally got someone to help me so I/we got the Ch**ch sign put back up, it's been down way too long, so I am very happy about getting it put back. The wind had blown it down, snapped of at the ground.

Just got back from Costco and home Depot. Costco was a mad house. I got a 4x8 ft sheet of 3/4 inch plywood which wasn't that hard but picked through about 20 2x8x8 ft boards to get 6 good 1s. Man I'm I hurting now. On top of that it's 100 miles round trip.

They are improving though.  We are all having a lot of fun with the pool table.  Best $300 I've spent in a long time 👌🏼😎

Moved three more plants from the hydroponic to the sunroom; Sage, Chive and cucumber.  Planted snap peas and zucchini in the hydroponic.

When I told my son about it he said the memory wasn't the problem, trusting memory was, and if I had a preventive procedure it would not have happened. That is why I came up with removing the dipstick and key and putting the dipstick through the key. I have worked on all my own vehicles that I have ever owned and it was a first that made me feel real stupid, but it was not a matter of intelligence, but of attention.  

Indeed. In my case I should've tightened the drain plug with the wrench first before tightening the oil filter with it's other wrench like I did. If I'm too broke to pay attention I'll pay someone else to do it right next time. I've noticed when I'm in pain I do really dumb things not thinking straight distracted with the pain so I need to make sure I'm not hurting before taking on a task.

Textured the ceiling and wall patches today.  Next up is primer and paint 🏁🏁🏁

Made a run (twice actually) for material for a storage cabinet that is to be built under a garden window.  Also picked up some 20"x20" pavers to start figuring out how to spruce up and tie together the immediate area off the carport/back of the house. 

This place was built in 1930 and a hodge podge of add on over the years.  Our main entrance is from the back door under the carport that we dont use as a carport but use it as a covered patio.  The old shop is directly behind that back entrance with about 12' of space between the carport and the shop.  Many homes exit the back right into the yard.  We come out to a gravel strip and an run down building.  It doesn't have that inviting, backyard, homey feel so we are trying to remedy that.  We also have a graduation party coming up in June so that is a good motivator to get this work done. 

Went to Bible study tonight and we (my family) headed over to the coffee stand afterwards and got drinks.  Our oldest daughter was working there tonight so it was a trip to visit her and say hi. 

Came home and i hadnt cleaned the griddle from dinner so i tended to that and did a reseason on the cook surface.  Now im in bed next to Mrs. P surfing the interwebs winding down for bed to start my work week tomorrow.  I work a split shift Tuesday-Saturday with Sunday/Mondays off.
