Sorry for the coldness but, saves the tax payers a ton of money.

It also saves a Jury from the trauma of having to review it and decide the guilt. Some people could/would have life problems from being involved with the process of seeing a due punishment meted out. I think if these types of situations always ended like this there would be a/some reduction in occurrences to an extent. I realize for some their own death is their ultimate objective though.

I saw a really big hole on side of the second floor apartment, where the suspect was shooting from.
Most of the side wall, of that particular apartment unit, had been removed.
No where to hide after that happened.

The store I worked at was robbed with the clerk I traded days off being held at shot gun point, he never was able to work after that day. It should have been me. I am pretty certain I would not have responded the way he did, but people handle things differently.

It's funny how one simple clean up project turn into a major one. In the morning first thing is replace the fuel pump on the tractor and go ahead with the 50 hour service on it while I have the skid plate off of it. Did get the string mower back in service and usable, waiting on one spring to get here for it. The lift the rider out of the shed(tires are flat) and get that one serviced as well. The ramp into the shed has disintegrated into saw dust so that has to be fixed. Yes, I am going to take a break this weekend from all this. Really, I am!

Well, for the past week and a half I have been watching all this winters snow rapidly melt.
We went from a record breaking snow pack... to record breaking heat these past 4 days.
Wednesday April 12th, it hit record breaking 88 degrees in the afternoon and shattered and all time high previous record.
On the morning of April 1st we were coming out of a night time blizzard that added another 15 inches of snow to the 110 that I already had.
The warm up was gradual at first with daytime temps in the 30's and low 40's and night time temps below 32 degrees.
That all changed last Saturday when the temps rose into the 50's and low 60s and it stayed above 32 degrees at night.
The real heat hit Tuesday with the temps in the 80's and the deep snow started disappearing fast.
Right now it is just shy of 80 and there is a few stretches of snow in the shaded areas that are around 12 inches deep.
I am 5' 10" tall. Those areas had been from head high to over my head.
Today is the last day of the record warmth for a while.
The temps are supposed to drop back to the 30's and 40's this week end with night time lows below 32.
If it had stayed colder the snow would have been around until May.
With the way things are now, all the snow will be gone soon.

Yes there is major flooding and in many areas too.
The biggest flooding close to me is the ST.Croix River.
The Mississippi and Minnesota rivers will flood.
All the creeks and tributary rivers are in flood stage and there is flooding in low swampy areas.
The Red River gets really bad because it flows north into Lake Winnipeg.
There is still ice up there in Canada that blocks any liquid water flow.

I'm surprised you don't have a bunch of broken branches from all that snow. Just in half of the 5 acers that is fenced I had a bunch of broken branches and all we had was a couple of 1 foot of snow days.
