Started to stack some wood that had been split, took trash and boxes out from last night's festivities, installed the old barrel back of the Royale, straightened up the patio area and blew the patio, walkways, drivewayand gravel areas clear.  Ate snacks and now I'm surfing AG forums and Instagram looking at AG and knife stuff.

Plumbing gods have been appeased, I can get on with my life again. It has warmed up enough to get the outside damage cleaned up. I will have a lot freeze kill damage and have to deal with stupid neighbors burning things. So a lot of fire hazard removal is in the works. Joys of living in the middle of nowhere.

No more slash and burning for me for the next week it looks like. Woke up to snow this morning and don't look like I'll be able to the rest of the week and into next week

I'm taking down the outside Christmas lights today.
It's a Big job, everything is iced in place.
I managed to get all the electrical cords up without damage.
I'm taking a break right now, then I'll go back out and do some more.
The snow is knee deep to mid thigh and like walking around in quicksand. 
The drifted areas are waist deep.
That's the price I pay for a "White Christmas"

Tom, I found the secret to avoiding Christmas decorating.  All you have to do is catch a cold that lingers for a couple of weeks.  By that time, it is too late to decorate.

Spent most of the day salvaging citrus fruit off my trees, picked most before the freeze. The rest got nailed. Hopefully the trees will bounce back this summer. All the trees were loaded this year and usually keep me in fruit until the end of March.

Talked to the owner of the fab shop where I worked before Covid; starting work Tuesday... 
Also looks like I'm destined to eventually become a laser operator-about the highest-paid job on the floor there...

Thanks Bill-sure glad to get back in there; pretty nice place to work; decent wages; and since my Dad also got hired back in; we get to carpool it and save on gas/spend more time together-win/win! 
Did I ever mention the access to all kinds of material for free or cheap; and tools too?

Which is fine by me; I don't mind paying for my own material 
Also bring my scrap in and dump it there; so if you're not greedy it sort of balances out-always best to ask first though anyways...
And the tools are you can use them there, LOL!

Tom, I finally called it quits the first of Dec. It was time to hang it up. I have been enjoying the peace and solitude of not having to put up with any of it any more. I know Bill can be a bad influence at times and his actions sometimes can lead you another direction.
