Good job, Tom! I know what you mean about having to take the gloves off. Sometimes you just have to. I did a lot when I lived up NorthEast… For some reason, heat parts- nuts and screws are so much smaller than most AC parts. I’ve always worked commercial, that’s what I do, and up there even 99% of commercial HVAC is on the roof- even in 3 feet of snow/drifts on the roof (better not drop any parts in the snow ) …. unless I was in a place with a boiler room. That was better than being on the roof, especially with multiple boilers. We could warm up in the boiler room usually.
Wow, that Toro blower works great. I don't see any snow left.😁
Tom, I was just being Facetious.😁
It was about 35 F on top of the observation tower at the spring this morning. I counted 26 manatee in the spring but I expected to see more with this cold snap. The wind was gusting to better than 25 miles an hour so the other boat captain on duty and I got together to decide our game plan for the day. Just then a gust of wind ripped the awning completely off my boat. I looked at him and he looked at me and said "That's a message from the almighty". I picked up my radio and told the staff that boat tours were canceled for the day. By noon the temperature was down to 28 F. I helped get the park ready for the freeze, did some paperwork, and then bailed. I've got the hose bibs dripping here and that's about all we can do to get ready.Ya'll stay warm.

Got to use my new snowblower. Only a few inches but 25 mph wind and 7F temperature. Hands were numb after 30 minutes of work. I'll finish tomorrow although the way the wind is blowing, I'll probably have to do it all over again.
