When I was teaching high school, several times I knew of a student who went home because he/she had Pink Eyes.  I think it is very contagious/communicable.  So the lady in charge of the front office didn't hesitate to call the parent to come get the child.  The child was usually out of school for about five days.

I just returned from a visit with my regular eye specialist.  It isn't Pink Eyes at all.  So you don't have to disinfect your computer keyboards and monitors after looking at and/or replying to my previous post.  Doc. said it is likely an allergy.

Got a case of SIKA self leveling caulk for concrete. Got 75% of the driveway cuts sealed, need a second case for the other slabs.

Both Dad and I put in applications at the place we both worked before the whole c#v!d disaster; appears to be in the bag... 
Not only do we get to ride to work together; but I will regain access to boatloads of material-steel, stainless, and aluminum-plus all kinds of cool tools!!! 
And this time I'm not going to make the mistake of relying on my access to them-while I worked there, I had opportunity to literally build myself a shop full of machines and tools, but was stupid stupid stupid and didn't take it-going to grab and run with it this time!.... 
Did I mention that they have a Grizzly gunsmithing lathe?....

Made arrangements to pick up 12 bags of Self Leveler to pour in the back room remodel project.
Nice thing is all the Primer and Leveler is free!

I have a can of Spray adhesive that costs nearly $100 and plan to use that for the LVT I'll lay down.
That LVT will probably be free also.

Replaced the 15yr old broken throttle cable on my mower. Had to remove the panel to get back to the cable so I could squeeze the wire crimp tight once I had the wire back in place because it had slipped out when I started driving it. 

Had a tire go completely flat on the log splitter so I jacked it up then strapped the tire tight but it still wouldn't fill so I sprayed brake cleaner inside then lit it up to seat the beads then inflated it to pressure with the compressor.

Rearranged my shop and my pool's pump room after I cleaned them.

Not quite, noticed the pedal didn't feel right in the lot, but was distracted by the greasy hand prints ( )-so checked it as soon as I got on the road, nice clear stretch... 
So it wasn't at in inopportune time, like in the notorious intersection at the bottom of a hill that would have been on the way home 
Turned right around, back to the shop I went-when I checked the brakes, I got up to about 40 MPH, and stomped them-if there was a goldfish bowl on the hood, it wouldn't have moved...  Took about 200 feet to slow to 10 MPH-with my foot almost on the floor!!!.... 
I took my check back, as of yet they have not been paid.... Not sure they will be either

Been posting progress on the resurrection of the Red Shed in the What's Your Plan Today thread. But I figured it should go here instead...
History of the Red Shed..
The building is probably 24' x 24'. I haven't measured it yet but i will when I begin building work benches and such. It is 4x4 pole barn construction with a metal exterior and roof. Inside, the 2 gable end walls are covered with vertical 1" x 10" ruff sawn cedar boards and the other 2 walls are luan. The exterior is 1"x 6" vertical covered in galvanized roofing metal... also vertical.
The floor is around 4" thick round river gravel except for and 8' wide wood platform from gable end to gable end. The gravel is flush to the platform. On the platform sits a hot tub and a built in daybed with storage under neath. The building is completely wired and plumbed. It also has a propane wall heater that is plumbed to the same propane tank that supplies heat to our mobile home.
I'm sure there are stories of the "antics and goings on" over the years but I graciously am not privy to them... 
My plan is to make it a working tool room and ATV/Mower storage building.

The building had a man door and 2 large double hung windows. The 4x4 poles are spaced 7' so I suppose the actual size of the building is 21' x 21'.
One side of the building faces our driveway. I cut a 7' opening in that side between the 2 center poles where a window was and put in a vinyl roll up door. I may put in a double wooden door later but for now, the roll up works well to keep critters and elements out.

I found the hot tub still full of crystal clear water with the cover intact.. I was amazed at that. However, that building have been closed up and full of all manners of junk for several years and it stunk of dampness. There were snake skins everywhere... BIG snake skins !! But on a good note, there were no signs of rodents... wonder why?

Glove up and put on a mask..... and a hot shower at the end of each day is required....
The cleaning out process began...
From old jugs, paint cans, propane peanut boilers and containers of used motor oil to nic nacks and what nots... you name it, it was in there.
Exercise equipment, a tanning bed (complete and heavy), wooden table and benches and metal shelving.
There was also some interesting stuff such as..
A complete roller blade set with knee and elbow guards.
Vintage Halloween decorations... some rather unnerving..  like boarder line ritual stuff 
Some stuff was still brand new in the boxes, like..
50lbs of 3" drywall screws.. 
A 200w stereo blue tooth receiver.
A 5gal air tank with gauge and hose.
2 sets of progressive size pottery planters stacked inside one another and still banded together.
A pair of glass casserole/cake bake ware dishes... the good stuff (Anchor Hocking)
Just a random assortment of stuff.
