Today is moving stuff out of the backroom into the new 12 X 16 She Shed.
Once that is done? Gonna measure for pouring self leveler in the back room for new flooring.
It's an old concrete pad and not well done! It's going to be our Living room once I get that leveled.

What kit did you buy and do you recommend it? It's looking more and more that the Graceland shed won't be able to be delivered 🤬😡🤬😡. We ordered it back in April but now they said it will be delivered using a 55 ft trailer. Don't think they'll be able to get it up here with the road the way it is. 5.5 miles of unmaintained dirt road.

Well, the shed has been cancelled. Wife and I spent 3 hrs trying to get the dirt road as smooth as possible. Problem is it's clay and is dryed out so it's like concrete. Just a little rain and it would soften up enough to drag it smoother. Oh well.

Flash and I went for a walk around the permission this a.m.  Didn’t see anything to shoot.  Then we went and dropped some crab pots at a few honey holes around the bay.  The Mullet are running but I didn’t see any at my cast netting spots so we headed for home.  We helped the memsahib buck up a big Live Oak tree in the yard to clear space for more garden and now I’m kicking back waiting for dinner.

I had a yard sale. It was ok. I advertised a Honda Generator. I thought for sure
it would sell. Only 1 guy looked at it. Would have liked to sell a grandfather clock
and a bbq grill.

Grandfather clocks are a tough sell.   No one under 70 wants one.    I had a couple and it took me a long time to sell them.   I kept lowering the price.   The last one I sold to a young woman.   She bought it as a gift for her (ready for this) grandfather.

DARN...I have a "thing" for Grand Father Clocks!
I am 59 and a Grand Father for 15 years.... but My Grand Father loved his and passed the affection onto me. Sadly that 100+ year old clock was lost in the fire back in '85.

BUT... they are fragile and it takes knowledge in how to prep and move them...
Put one on the curb / garage with the weights hanging and I will probably pass it by.

Had to cut the lock off of 1 of 3 main intrances to the ranch I own 40 acers of property on the ranch along with a few 100 others. We have a moron that lives on the ranch who is a real pita and is the one who locked it. It against the law to lock it but with some detective work we figured out who did it. Going to get ahold of the sheriff's department tomorrow and see if we can get them to have a long talk with the boy and explain it's against the law and he could be charged. If he's not careful he's libal to wet the wrong person off and....

Blew leaves the first half of yesterday. Then my wife told me it was quitting time at noon. Took a nice nap and then we went to a fun fall festival at the Ch**ch. I had a couple hot dogs and then the chili came out. I had 6 different kinds of chili and they were pretty good.   

I still got a couple hours of leaf blowing to get done. Fortunately, the winds have been in my favor. The wind has been blowing pretty good in the direction I was blowing them.

I guess I don't understand this.. If you own the property why would you not just evict the offender?

The ranch is about 30 square miles of a combination of state and private property. If you you look at the map it looks like a patch work. There are free range cattle that graze on everything not fenced no matter who's land it is. I live where the blue dot is and the gate is where the X  is. We found out that the guy who put the lock on the gate is trying to keep a realitor from selling a parsel of land right at the gate.

Pulled my crab pots just after sunrise.  Stopped off at the Coastal Corner and got a chicken biscuit and a cup of bilge water.  Best chicken around.  Worst coffee. 

Got nineteen crab in four pots so it was worth the time.  I still have to clear out enough of the Tractor barn to park the “new” farm wagon in there,  help the memsahib move a whole bunch of firewood, and paint two posters.

Gonna be a busy “day off”.

The 5 acres I have fenced is locked. The rest of my 40 is open for the cattle. I do have no trespassing signs but I also have a road that's on my property that I can't gate to prevent my neighbors from using it to get to their home.

Here in Alabama you really need to know where you are. A property does not have to be posted for you to be considered by law as trespassing.

I would love an old grand father clock. I haven't bought one because I know it takes a lot of care. I just can't bring my self to buy one to have to move it repeatedly. I'm hoping in the next few years I'll own my own home and can finally have one.
