I been assisting-overseeing the work at my younger daughter's house for the last two weeks. So I haven't been able to post or even login for that period. Probably another week or so.  On top of that the AT&T DSL internet has been patchy for the past several months or years you could say and it finally went out completely.  The earliest they can come to repair it is Wednesday. Then I bet it will only be comparable to Dial up.

Had a Friend stop by to look at doing the roof on my She Shed project.
Told him I'd pay him to also help set the walls and he said he'd help me with that for free.
Said he also had some windows he'd hook me up with if I wanted.

Drove two tour boats, organized, scrubbed, and mopped the visitor center.  Chased some college kids out of Cherokee sink after hours.  Cleaned all the restrooms.  Closed the swimming area and the diving tower.  Locked the park up and drove home.

Its a Cenote, a very big and very beautiful sink hole.  It’s about one hundred yards long by eighty yards wide and forty feet deep. The water is the color of Scope mouthwash.  A popular local swimming hole.

Today is a simple day, reassemble the Roll Top Desk I modified to fit my Computer screen.
This roll top, all though solid oak, well built, is a computer desk not an antique so I didn't worry about modifying it.
I have the bace reassembled already, just need a helping hand to get the desk top and roll top (one piece) in the house from the barn and then put in place.

Then the office need to be straightened out, it was semi disassembled when we evac'd for the wild fire, since it was apart... the wife wanted to change things a little.
Got the Pipe Supported Shelves in place, they look ok, once the desk is in place I need to rewire the computer system; I.e. computer, external drives, printer, router, phone router... etc.

IF I even get close to finishing today I will take the rest of the day off, maybe even go out to get a bite to eat at a small out of the way restaurant !

Didn't get another swatch of roof done as initially planned; had a minor issue arise that needed addressed first 
God am I tired of juvenile delinquent adults in positions they shouldn't have!!! 

So, got some other stuff done instead-fixed up the back steps which were getting a bit wobbly, finished weedeating around the garden fence (moving a medium-sized garter snake in the process), and cleaned up some other odd-n-ends...

No Nessie but there are some huge soft shell turtles.  Occasionally a gator will wander in but there isn’t enough food in there to support El Legarto for very long.  Once the lizard eats everything in the pool it can catch it will move on. 

Drove four boat tours today and I was not in top form.  I’m tired.  We’re short handed and I’m working six day weeks to compensate.  No overtime either.  Looking forward to three days off and the opening of squirrel season in a few days.

A cold blast of Antarctic Ir has delivered snow and ice further south   here it has been cold all day  I went down to the school field with the grandchildren to fly kites  cold and windy but the sun was shining, a few clouds and it snowed  not much but the flakes were on my coat   after lunch we took the blow cart to Waitarere beach  It was

Roger that. Fruit trees are starting to bud, grass is growing fast and leaves growing everywhere. Winter is pretty mild here but this one has been very wet. Time for sunshine and and shooting.
