That is a Husqvarna  it is a good saw. Can't see what the one in the background is. Is it better than the Husqvarna or is it the new one?

 I like my Dolmar better than any Husqvarna, I have owned or operated, price is better too. Dolmar is the back saw in photo.

Dolmars are good.  Quality German engineering.  And their saws use Mahle pistons.

Other than work, I did some laundry, fixed an extension cord, built a new one using a 40-foot "remnant" of 10-guage 3-strand for my MIG welder, and performed an operational test of some new .625 blowgun darts.  As my wife was home, she "tested" the darts as well.  She had 2 robin-hoods, so I robin-hooded her robin-hoods.

OK, so I'm gonna guess that a robin-hood is when you shoot a dart into the back of a dart that's already imbedded in the target?  That can't be too easy.

Got another strip of roof done, just cleaned up from that, have a bit to relax, then go get some groceries...

Walk out at night with a headlamp to spot spiders on webs under trees ect then hold lighter under squirting brake cleaner spraying the spider ala flame thrower and enjoy the bright show, just do so when no danger of catching anything else on fire other than the critters.

Correct and no, it's not easy...  But I've been playing with blowguns for a couple decades and 10-yard shots aren't overly hard.

Oh no- she's an active participant in projectile-flinging.  Airguns, we're about even.  Powderburners, she has the upper edge.  Archery and slingshots, I school her on the regular.  Blowguns I'd say I'm a hair more accurate.  I've promised to introduce her to boomerangs and kylies once I get my spindle sander up and running so it will be a fun experience for her.  I mentioned old-school slings, and she's intrigued.

I ride my property perimeter often on my 4-wheeler, I dodge dozens of spider webs but some I don't see in time. It's not unusual for me to get two or three spiders in the face every trip.

Too many Black Widows around here to drive through them.   When out on the tractor cutting grass or brush I keep my open for any kind of webs.   I can't tell the difference unless I put a stick through it... if it is heavy and thick, sticky, then a assume a Black Widow.

Most of teh time I have to jum directly in the shower, dusty around here, especially now with all the heat.

And it is amazing where Black Widows will homestead. Yesterday I found one living inside of a hose bib that is out in the middle of a big open space/field. There is nothing around for at least 30' but dirt and the hose bib rarely get used. On our hot days that hose bib is too hot to touch, but makes a good spider house?

Finished the Roll Top Desk mods and started the Pipe Supported Shelves in the Office spare bed Room area.

I will be setting up the wall with blue tape and checking the actual positioning of the Pipe Supports, there will be five of them, three 41 inches and two 51 inches.

I purchased some 12" wide 1" Red Oak Boards a while back, before Covid hit, and I will be using them for the shelf boards.   They are 10' long, I haven't decided if I should keep the shelves at 10' or go 12'.

Once the shelves are done I will move the Roll Top Desk in place; then start the process of reinstalling the computer system.

Blue tape is in place on the Shelf Project.

Pipe Racks will be in place later tonight or tomorrow AM, along with cutting the shelf boards.

Sanding and edge smoothing of the boards and then a clear coat of ploy.    Using Red Oak so don't want to change the color AT ALL !

Getting there, but things longer the older I get.

Then put the Roll Top together, it is in about six pieces, won't take lone, just new screws, and some light gluing.

Then the setup f the Computer System and see if everything made it through the Wild Fire Shut Down !

Helped load the furniture for my daughter now I am tired out, probably mostly from being in the heat. I am glad it just got to 93°F though, the ten day has us going above 100°F again next week.

Got the onions topped/derooted/cleaned up and taken into the house today-all 85 pounds worth 
High of 60° today. low going to chance frost at 40-ish; figured we'd better get them off of the drying racks and into the house; lest they be damaged.

Hopefully have the Pipe Shelves finished today and then on to a Card Game at 1900 hrs; usually 2 or 3 AM by the time it is done.
WILL be too much beer involved, games get a little crazy after a while.

One project at a time !   That's my new motto !

Prepping for the big one, hopefully it will go somewhere else. Still cleaning up after the last one. Just the usual food, water, generator, chainsaws, fuel for everything, and a truck load of happy pills for those annoying moments to gather up for survival.
