I saw a friend's FB post about going to a really nice rifle range so I looked up the closest outdoor range to me. There's one within an hour and they are having their monthly meeting tomorrow, so I'm thinking about going.

Took my AR out and re-zeroed my red dot to 75 yards.  Dead on.

Took my water trailer down to the repair shop and had some new springs installed on the front axle. I went up to 3500 lb springs in place of the 2500 lb springs it came with. I was originally nervous about going up in spring strength but was told because there's a balance rocker that it will just balance out.
It's a double axle 10000 lb car trailer.

It will but if you only have a 2500/5000 pound axle and not a 3500/7000, pound axle you may be overloading it anyways. Tires axle and springs are meant to complement each other with one not doing more work. In reality it will probably be fine if its been doing the work already with out damage. Putting higher rated springs on isn't going to magically break something all it will do is probably make the trailer tow better. A load leveler or repositioning the water tank if that is possible would be a better option.

My problem is I have to go up a 5.5 mile unmaintained dirt road and part of it is heavily wash boarded. I'm sure that's what broke the original spring. It has 5200lb axles. I try to never exceed 10 miles per hour when on the dirt road.

Well, after my repair parts took a USPS tour across the country, literally from MA to CO to IN,  they were delivered Wednesday.
 Finished it this afternoon and the thrill is still there. Slow and easy at first but short bursts of WOT were "exciting".
 The 30 YO Ni-Cad battery packs I have are "no longer worthy"... run time was about 3 minutes.
So that will be my next purchase.

Drove by an Old Fashioned brick and mortar Hobby Shop tonight.
Came home with 2 old school battery packs in 1800mah.
Dug out the Buggy and Truck from storage once again.
 Dinh... You are to blame.

I don't like to fight but I almost got into one all just to get an idiot out of my way who was parked in my driveway with his window down who waved after I honked to get him to move so I could get on the road yet stayed there blocking me. I yelled out that I need to leave....again he did nothing. I yelled out a 2nd time let's go.....still nothing. Now I'm fully charged and flung the door open and got out quick then scream get out of my way I've told you 3 times to leave now move it! When he saw I was amped enough to fight not being the type to put up with that bull shrimp he was pulling on me then he apologized in a calm tone then I screamed go on and he left. I'm a good cat trying to have grace with people and I usually put up with a lot of bs out of people without confronting them in trying to please God but I just don't tolerate fools disrespecting me like that on my own freakin property I'm not having that. I'm glad he didn't want to fight but I'm at 100% right now so it would've been bad timing for him as I'm able to defend myself just fine currently. Unbelievable the stupidity we deal with out of people these days.

If I'm blocking any roadway or driveway I'm using my mirrors with my head on a swivel since mirrors are not freakin ornaments being tools intended for use so I can get out of the way when someone comes so they don't even have to honk and yell at me but being considerate of other people is just too much to ask of most people these days be it driving with their bright lights on day and night blinding other drivers, riding bumpers even in the rain, hauling scrap and wood not strapped down causing tire and car damage from their fallen debris ect. Have beer will chill.

I'm excited that I was able to do some mowing, string trimming and brush cleanup even though the temp is in the 90s.    The body sure ain't what it used to be.  Don't think the legs will ever fully heal but I'm not ready to give up yet.   Maybe some light chainsaw work and pruning later on.

Sound went out in my 12yo PC so I skittered off to Walmart and got a new one. They had a decent "gaming" one on clearance so I bought that one instead of the one I was looking at.

Chainsawed 5 trailer loads of low hanging limbs off a tree and hauled them to the woods. Now I can mow under that tree without limbs being in the way. Used the tractor loader to chop away other small saplings and limbs off trees in one of my trails and I trimmed away low hanging vines and thorns.

One of my mower's side panels was loose and vibrating from a missing bolt so I tried to find a small bolt that would secure it but didn't have it so I used a self driving metal screw and it secured the panel well. It's under the mower inside the frame near the engine where no one will ever see it.

Well at 5:42 our power went off. So I got the generator going and am in my office with the window air-conditioner and my laptop. I shut down my desktop that has a UPS because the generator isn't charging it for some reason. No big deal! The power company put out an estimate of 10:30 for the power to come back on.

In my 6 years in the US, I’ve only experienced a power failure once; it was about 2 something weeks ago when I was taking a bath at about 9 p.m., and it lasted 5 or so minutes.

And I have yet to see a rat or a mouse, seriously 🥸

In California Where I'm at we've had lots of power outages in last couple of years. Most are planned because of so called fire danger. The property I live on really has close to zero risk of wildfire danger. But we are the first ones on the edge of an arbitrary boundary. They use the road as a boundary instead of where the brush begins over a half mile from here. Cleared land won't burn! When there has been fires out this way the Fire Departments have used the restrooms and kitchen as needed in the Church Building.

Nice work Wyatt!  I make primitive fishing and hunting gear using bone and antler.  I know how much work went into that.

I jus drove de boat today mon!  Four trips dodging sandbars and trying to keep the old scow out of the trees.

Let me tell you that Americans are fat!  I had a load of thirty passengers today that left me with about six inches of freeboard!  I had to run from a thunder storm at one point and I had to get about a dozen passengers to shift toward the stern of the boat to adjust the trim.  Otherwise when I opened the throttle it just buried the bows under the bow wave.  Once I got the bow trimmed up I couldn’t get her to plane out so we just chugged for cover at about ten knots throwing a huge wake.  Just ridiculous.
