 One of the rare days that I did as little as possible, after litter box duty, just read GTA and watched airgun videos.

I drove the first two boat tours of the day.  Water clarity was poor and it’s nerve wracking trying to spot the manatee before you are right on top of them.  Unfortunately most were within 15 yards before I spotted them.  Nothing to do but snatch her into neutral and ride the “up” trim button.  Then you are at the mercy of the wind and current until you can get clear of the critters, and get the motor back down and started.  Twice today I thought I was going to beach the old scow.

Then the weather shut us down and I canceled the next three tours.  Piloted my last tour at 3 p.m.  I had a crew of thirty rather adipose tourist and less than a foot of freeboard.  With that much load the scow wallowed all over in the turns and we were bucking bottom on several occasions.  I went home beat about 5:30.

I had/have the cbr1100x version of that bike I think. Dual balacer shafts and you could actually see imagines in the rear view mirror pretty clear. 1 very quick bike with a very high top speed stock.

I cut my yard this morning, only 5 acres. My son's yard joins mine and he's been cutting about an acre if mine. I don't mind at all. I has fried catfish for lunch then finished a few minor chores afterwards. Took a nap, surfed the net, cleaned a few emails out and ordered a few pellets.

I drove four boat tours.  The weather cooperated for once and I dodged manatee today instead of thunder showers.  Lots of critters out enjoying the sunshine and lots of happy tourist on my boat!

I did have one truly awkward moment when I had to intervene in a fist fight on the beach between two grown women.  Not sure what the fracas was about but it involved two middle aged sisters(!) swinging haymakers and screaming drunken insults.  I got them separated and told them to calm down or they would get a short ride to the pokey.  I must have scared them because they left in separate directions with remarkably little drama.

There’s never a dull moment when you are a park ranger!

Cracker winter day here. One day break in the endless rain so I went sailing in Cook straight.
Wind 12 to 15 knot breeze and cold but clear view of the Kaikoura ranges 50 miles to the south and snow covered  beautiful to look at but I don't want to get any closer to snow.

Sounds awesome!  I live on the Gulf coast and get to sail occasionally but not with scenery like that!

I had more teeth pulled.  Rough session today.   Most of them had to be busted up to get all the root out.  OUCH!

Well today they gimme 8 codeine.  Same principle.

I had a wisdom tooth pulled once he gave me a bunch of Vicodin, he dorked it up bad, nope ill pass with that devils pill. Never again will I take that poison, maybe some codeine for the rest of the day and the next morning but meh. I would rather suffer the pain than the way those drugs treat me.

I had a wisdom tooth pulled once he gave me a bunch of Vicodin, he dorked it up bad, nope ill pass with that devils pill. Never again will I take that poison, maybe some codeine for the rest of the day and the next morning but meh. I would rather suffer the pain than the way those drugs treat me.

Its a veiled poke at how the pain killer business works.  Quite a few dentist around here will only prescribe a half dozen doses of an opiate at a time.  Some will give you a dozen.  Which dentist will get more return business?

Well, yesterday went and got my hair cut first, then the wife and I had a SPA day, that is a day at the Hot Springs Spa, just swimming and lounging around in the pools. The weather was perfect for being in the water, in the upper 90°'s to 103°F with some clouds to provide some shade as they passed over. The 7 pools varied from 88°-102°F. It was very nice and relaxing. I swam laps in this pool, so I got some good exercise too.

I agree 👍. When I had my hernia surgery about a year ago the doctor gave me 30 days of perks which was 4 a day. I took exactly 4.5 of them over the first 2 days and that was it and I had about a 6 inch insision starting from the jewels up to just below the belt line.
I've had them subscribed a bunch of times over my life time when you consider I've had 10 surgeries and I never took them more than a day or 2.

With both of us testing positive and quarantined, we are trying to remain as active as possible as opposed to laying around in the sickness.
Betty Lou's 10 x 20 veggie garden turned out to be too much for her in this lower Alabama heat and humidity. It rapidly grew into a weed garden with a couple peppers in the middle    So she gave me the nod to remove it.
There is a 20x20 lean to on one side of the mancave/bar that I had been parking the ATVs under. I really didn't like how exposed they were. Even though the property is fenced in and there are cameras I just felt it could be a bit more secured.
Turns out that the 6 10'wide by 6'tall sections of chain link fence from the garden were a perfect fit to enclose the lean to. One panel has a man door gate and one full panel will be hinged to swing open.
So working and resting in spurts we got after it. Betty Lou picked what veggies the were good and I dropped the panels to the ground. Then we moved the panels to the lean to and temporarily secured them to the posts with nylon rope. I have a plan to attach them but honestly, we just ran out of juice. 
Even the dogs dug holes in the sand to lay in and keep cool.
Once I got a second wind I went and got the zero turn. After several passes at lower and lower blade settings, the garden is no more.
Betty Lou suffered the only injury. She got her finger in the way of one of the fence connectors and when the rusty bolt came loose she got bit. She cleaned it up and put a bandaid on it.

Oh, I forgot to mention... I ran into a mound of fire ants and they made a meal out of my right hand a wrist before I realized they were there.

I put together a set of patio furniture and that included a trip to buy some missing bolts and nuts. I then decided to dismantle an 1980's oscillating fan that quit working a couple of weeks back so we could throw it away. I thought it had just burned up because no matter where it was plugged in it did nothing and with it's age it would not be unexpected. When I started dismantling it the cord fell off, clueing me in to the fact that the wire had just broken from so many bends back and forth. So, I repaired the cord and decided it will just stay out in my tool shed now to provide me with some much needed breeze and help cool me when I am working out there.

Went to buy smokes, went for a walk with the wife, fed the out door cats.
