Mowed the back 40 and then took a nap.
Went to town for smokes and came home with a new Taurus G3c Stainless and 100 rounds of 9mm.

I finally became a member of the town fish and game club. They have a 600yd range 
However, I haven't had a chance to get down there because nearly all my free time has been getting the house ready for the daughter's grad party next Saturday .
Airguns are allowed here, and I'm definitely trying my hand with the 100yd range with the .25 Armada! Can't wait!

That was Friday night... and then again Saturday night ... so I guess the answer is "sometime in between"

Had a good meeting with a couple fellows that I meet weekly with on Wednesday mornings. Mowed 2/3 of my lawn and then visited my family doctor. The doctor is referring me out to a couple more doctors- gastro & ortho… then went to work. Had a not so good conference call with 2 of my bosses… then headed an hour south to fix a machine no one else could fix. In fact, the last guy that was there was barred from going back there by the site manager. I fixed that machine, came home to a hot meal that was fabulous, made by my wife. Showered and I’m headed to bed. Tomorrow’s a new day. 

Just curious ,, what kinda machine was it... it's always a good feeling when you get something back up & running.

It was an undercounter stainless steel cooler.

Already that's wassup lol.. we're still working on an ice-cream truck and we got to stainless coolers that were marked for scrap.. we ended up replacing compressor on one and the other not sure what was done to it.. but they work great now.

Dan those yellow vent tabs like to pop open sometimes so watch out for that. I have one that refuses to latch shut so I'll need to fix or replace it but for now I just tape it down. Those vents will leak between the gas can and the vent too if you don't get the drill hole just right where a little silicone around the bead before the install would help with that. First thing I do when I get a new can is replace the garbage spouts with flexible fast flowing ones. Attaching two of those spouts together into one long spout helps me with adding fuel to the mower, generator and tractor.

John tell your wife God is what gets you through such hard work. Maybe she'll tell your daughter how hard you work too where she'll have even more appreciation for what you go through to provide her such a nice life also.

Betty Lou called me here at work to tell me that she received her new Granite Stone 20 piece pan set today.
The mancave/bar will get her old set of copper and steel.

Will do... she did say she is making spaghetti and garlic bread in them today. When I talked to her she was unboxing and  washing the entire set. She said fit and finish was good. I don't think she tried the hammer test on any of them yet.... 
I read some reviews of bad fitment of the lids, bent handles and items appearing smaller than expected. Betty Lou had none of those complaints. I'm wondering if some of those reviews were on knockoff sets.

Funny, I was just researching a metal utensil set. Something I am safe to pick out as a gift.
Her birthday is this month and she is not one to request specific things.
Both of us just tend to get what we want when we want it.
If I just give her money and tell her to get what she wants, she either gives it to her mom or spends in on the dogs...

Built this Frankenspringer out of a Crosman Fire and a Ruger Airhawk Elite II.  Still have to make a bedding block for the rear bedding screw and dremel a little more clearance for the trigger.

That "Ruger Airhawk Elite/Crosman Fire" rifle looks a lot like the Umarex Surge Max Elite that I have.
Only yours has a Much Better rifle stock and open sights.

By-The-Way...I didn't do anything air gun related today...I sanded and painted.

A ton of vine, thorn and poison ivy clearing for me, along with chain sawing saplings and rotten stumps along the wood line to make mowing the yard and getting through trails easier without my mower and my face snagging on those sapling limbs as I drive past. My grass is almost dead so I got my well powered up and the sprinklers working early this AM to water my yard. I did that so the water would evaporate by evening so the smell of water wouldn't attract hogs to my yard during the night as it would if I watered in the evening. Hauled 6 loads of limbs to a burn pile in the woods. I'm toast. This heat is awful.

This is my kind of fun!

I spent sunday digging out a small shrub from partway under my mother-in-lasw's new rental's back yard.  2 hours with an adze and shovel and I finally had it out.  Turned out that "little" shrub had a rootball larger than a 351 Cleveland longblock.  Sonja worked in the front yard while I was working the roots.  We're about done there and should leave the job with enough cash to sport Leshiy 2s- each.  However, the Husqvarana tractor is down (mice got into the ignition) and Sonja's been eyeballing some Kubota tractors...  We may just say heck with it and get a Kub with a diesel.  It may not be as good for pesting, but playing with big lawn "toys" is a lot of fun.
