It's Betty Lou's turn for the needed dental attention. Yesterday she had ex-rays done and a plan was made on how to go forward. She will get partials.
Betty Lou and I both share some pretty dark pasts and didn't do the best in taking care of ourselves. We are now in a position to fix some of the neglect.

Just some last minute stuff to deal with before I retire. Make use of the Blue cross/Blue shield before it goes away. She got all the ex-rays and office visit done yesterday with not even a co pay. The dentist told her that the planned extractions will also be covered. When they do the partials, there will be some out of pocket cost but it will be reasonable and could be done in payments.

About 9pm last night the Neighbor calls. Her and her husband are Vegas and there 20 something year old son says there's no power. She's panicking because they're not home to try and fix the problem. So the wife and I get into the truck and slip and slide the 3/8 of a mile over there. It's been raining most of the day and our roads if you can call them that are slippery. Well we get there and I ask the kid where's the generator. He has no clue.🧐 They've lived there for around 6 months and they don't know where the generator is?🤔 So,we all start looking around and finally find it and sure enough it's not set to auto. I just push the auto button and it starts humming like it should and durn if the lights didn't come on. 😡 It was over cast most of the day so their solar couldn't keep up with demand. They've also got a wind turbine which puts out around 1000 watts of power and is probably why they haven't needed the generator until yesterday as it's been windy almost constantly and it was calm.

My oldest lill monster had her tonsils and androids taken out this morning everything went well she is at her mom's house resting. I will be picking up my youngest lill monster later and keep him overnight so their mom can take care of her.

That feeling when sitting in the waiting room is the worst.

Wow dude sounds absolutely clueless. I could understand if he were a little kid but 20yrs old and didn't even know where the gen was yeesh! At least it was a quick easy fix for you and sounds like they have a great setup there. She needs to teach her son how to tend her power setup if he can remember where it's at.

Moderately productive day today.
Stopped at the vet and got pills ordered for Boss and Rambo. They were out of stock. Should be in Monday.
Got $150 in groceries stocked in the kitchen.
I made the big mistake some time back in loaning out my 5x10 utility trailer to an individual who don't take care of his own stuff. What made me think he would take care of mine? He didn't crank the jack up and bent it badly. Then he totally ripped all the light wiring out of it.
Today I replaced the bent jack with a new one and rewired the lights. I had recently replace all the 2x8 treated floor boards with brand new ones. I also put new gel filled tires on it a couple months ago. I now basically have a brand new trailer for a single ATV or Z turn.
I have a spare truck bed tool box that I will mount in the front of it in the morning.

On the other hand, if I borrow something I absolutely take total responsibility for it.

When I loan expensive tools, equipment, trailers, etc I make sure the borrower understands that I expect it to be returned in the same or better condition than when they received it.  Why? I have been burned before.

Same here X and without anyone having to tell me to do so either. Some people's children. I had someone who pulled that nonsense with me returning my tools dirty years ago so I put a stop to that and ended the so called friendship without regretting a day of the peace I've had since. If people are users and takers instead of mutual givers then keep them out of your life.
