The poor thing was absolutely terrified of me and slithered away as fast as if it was on fire. I wasn't even chasing it or close to it. I was watching it from 30ft away. Poor critter. I wouldn't mind if it was at peace being just 10ft from me as another one the same size was months before on my back patio with me sitting near it but the survival instinct is strong with that one.

Still need to do some braces and the door way, but getting there. Soon I'll wrap it in hardware cloth and green house plastic. I plan on building in some ventilation as well. My chickens will use this most of the year, but March-April we will be kicking them out and starting plants in it.

After the graduation, we met my MIL and her sister for dinner at Angelina's. We'll be hosting a graduation party in July.

You sound like a happy dad X. Good for you. I don't know how your daughter feels but I felt like a liberated slave after graduation. That summer was the most free I'd ever felt.

We are extremely proud of her. She worked hard for her high academic achievements. The kid has always had her $h!t together.
She's glad to have a break from all the school stuff, but she also knows that it's temporary. In a couple of months, a new educational journey begins, for her, at the University of Delaware.

How much, if you don't mind? After I mentioned getting some kind of .22LR rifle a month or so ago my wife is thinking about it more and more.

We might be getting a PB shotgun and a nice .22 rifle this Christmas instead of a PBBA pro 20 like we were originally thinking.

I've recently picked up a 12g semi auto bullpup. The thing is just awesome! Seriously thinking about taking it into the woods this fall for deer hunting.

I've yet to go hunting since I was a kid going out for squirrels (I never got any). This winter I want to set up a blind and try and get a deer with my .45 Challenger 'pup. I like the idea of hunting, but a bit apprehensive about shooting an animal. As a kid I caught and cleaned fish and now we process our own chickens, but have yet to shoot an animal in my 30 years on this earth. I like to think we would use this hypothetical PBBA pro 20 or PB 20 ga to hunt turkey, upland game, waterfowl, or even deer, but who knows. My wife just wants to have a shotgun just to have one and I figure she can handle a 20 ga easier than a 12.

Didn't get out of the 80's today but was blowing really bad with gusts in the 40's.lots of dust!😡 Of course the humidity was down in the single dig area. Prime fire weather thank God so far no 🔥.🙏
