Gave myself a long overdue "flat-top" hair cut.

Now I go with “tha bald look”. I drove four boat tours fighting the wind and current the whole way. Snatched the plug off my PA headset when I got the cord caught up in the steering wheel while I maneuvering hard when the wind caught her. We were bucking bottom for fifty yards before I could get her off the bank and swing her back into the channel. He wind was a real bear. Still beats working for a living!
You are a better man than me because I well can't say what I would do because I am don't have to cross that bridge.

I guess I should ask would he put up his half cash wise? I mean if so then great so I understand you making it happen.
If that truck isnt running he aint making money also.
I had carried my Zero turn to the shop Monday. It had stopped charging and I couldn't figure it out. I hate diagnosing electrical problems. Picked it up today. Problem was a corroded treminal on one of the six relays. $12 part $88 labor
I have to run the plow and clear snow so I can get a load of wood delivered Saturday morning. 22 bundles =15 long cord.
My focus the last week has been working on the new-to-me '86 F-150. Straight-6 300, feedback carb. Those of you in the know, know what I'm dealing with. I got most of the vacuum lines and wires sorted out. Latest was replacing the heater core with a junkyard find- works perfect. I had to re-fix the heater box. Prior owner used black RTV to "repair" it. Some of the mounting hardware was missing so I corrected that. Now I'm working on replacing the AIR pump check valve, AKA smog-pump checkvalve going into the manifold. I will eventually be moving to a non-feedback carb with a Duraspark2 distributor and likely an MSD6A ignition, but for now, I'm getting close to having the truck properly operational. My 94 F-150 (also a manual straight-6) will need a headgasket, but that's fine. I'll likely replace the head since "it's only money", right? I won't be pulling the engine at this time- probably going to source a 4.9 longblock down the road- maybe next year? Just another item on the list Sonja and I knew selling the Odyssey and Titan would result in this type of endeavor- fixing older vehicles- hence choosing what we did. It also means we aren't making payments anymore. We also got the final plans for our Quonset house on our property; now we can focus on getting power out there (and internet). Life ain't so bad.
