A while back we upgraded computers at work to "windows 10" machines.
I kicked and screamed mine was fine... But to no avail. Got a new POS.
Fortunately, I set mine aside from going to the "e-waste" bin.
After careful, patient, hording I got a new key board, mouse, wifi USB dongle and a boatload of memory... Cables to connect my newly inherited 32" monitor...
Got me a new system for FREE!

Worked all day.  Came home, helped with dinner and dishes.  Made gingerbread houses with the kids.  Cleaned up, ready for bed.  Surfing the web now

Upgraded the new PC to windows 11 along with the wife's laptop. Took several hours to get all the updates installed and the OS stable.

Met the dentist for my first consultation. Soon I will have the rest of my teeth pulled and get dentures.  Then we stopped by a lawyers office and listened to their cant. This afternoon I will take an air rifle and go hunting.

Good luck Carter... I had all my uppers pulled (my lowers are good) a couple years ago and those dentures make me gag.
I consider mask wearing a blessing.... 
I just had to learn what I could and couldn't eat. Peanut brittle not being of the latter.

I worked all day at "The Plant" and now heading to the Lodge to cook Friday night dinner.... AGAIN... For Free... AGAIN.
Last Friday night I did Broasted chicken, mashed taters, gravy, green beans and a roll.
Tonight is burgers on the flat top with fries or onion rings.
Much easier... but this $#!+ is getting old.
 If it weren't for the free booze, and the fact My wife (the Bar Manager) needs the help, I'd tell them to cram it.
I just want to come home and relax after a long work week.

I just finished my BS last Monday. Wanted to get my JD but a friend I was in the Army with is a defense atty. Said law school is a ton of work.

Wife said maybe after kids gone.
