I feel kind of sorry for you all out west.
Here, I am about to build an ark and gather two of every animal.
Standing water in the fields that are normally dry now.   
"Toad drownin, log totin" tercentennial down pours every day for the last 3 weeks.

I took a 5 gal. bucket full of cucumbers, yellow squash, and zucchini to our local senior center to be distributed to the folks that come there to eat M-F.

I have just been "Volentold" I am cooking Burgers and Brats for 100 golfers Friday after I have been working all day.
They eat at 8:00, I can be there by 5:00 if no hold ups.
That'll be fun RIGHT?

Sick of the rain, 20 inches in 3 weeks and more coming. Mowing grass with knee high boots is not fun at all. I don't need an ark, I am the only dry ground on my property so guess what, everything that walks, slithers, crawls, or flies moves in.

Nice job, Dan! This was am EZPZ 4 wire, single pull job from front to back and will scab in the front marker lights before I wrap it up.

Thanks, and I understand. I've built all my trailer except for one, my landscape trailer from Lowe's.
My daughter in law works at Lowe's and I got it at a really good price. I have changed all my trailers over to 7-wire. This gives me the opportunity to have a light in the bed of the trailer as well as backup lights on the trailer. Did I need those luxuries? No! Just had the wire and stuff from father's shop.
But I have never been a fan of the four wire anyway.

Well Nevada had the freeway we wanted to close so we had to go through Utah we're in St George now. We're going to take a 2 hour nap now.

This morning I made the long haul in to the big city to see the quacks.  Then I hit the bakery, the grocery store, the gas station the drug store and I swung by work to pick up next weeks schedule.  This afternoon I will be taking my helium tank, some balloons and a few air guns out to the pasture.  Gonna be fun!

I assembled another no-Ruger-parts 10/22 (except for the magazine, lol!) that I have been waiting the carbon fiber barrel for a very long time to become available again.

I paired it with a 1” Burris 4.5-14x42 side focus Fullfield scope with Long Range MOA reticle.

It looks very nice, but I could not post a photo of it, as it’s a powderburner

Drove the “jungle tour boat” for the first time today.  Managed to get around the roughly two mile course four times without hitting any rocks, trees, or critters.  Did hit one stump on the first go round and nudged a sandbar on the second one.  The boats are 28’ scows with a variety of power plants, inboard, outboard, and electric!  So the handling of all the boats varies.  It was challenging today trying to steer the boat, stay in the channel, point out wildlife, and give a running account to the passengers.  Saw beaucoup wildlife!  Several manatee,  Osprey, and twenty to thirty alligators.  Got to witness a territorial fight between two bull gators within twenty yards of the boat.  Pretty exciting.  Just another awesome day as a park ranger!
