My oldest son has all of the remaining ~~debris~~ parts from our RC years and I frankly dont miss it at all. Nitro boats and 4WD Nitro 1/8 scale left me poor and frustrated so I left the scene and took up golf....

That didn't last too long either, too much time away from family so as always, I turned back to shooting and have been ever since.

BTW- I'd love to see some footage of those RC beasts running!

I don't run any nitro R/C vehicles. I find them to be a maintenance issue all of the time, and the fuel keeps them dirty.
I stayed with electric motors, the electronics have come a long way in the past 40 years. They are clean fast and dependable.
You can still spend a ton of money on them if you choose to, but you can also find R/C trucks for under $200 that are very good.
REDCAT makes a few low cost vehicles that I own, and they are top proformers in thier class. I would recomend the burshed motor short course truck
or the brushed rock crawler, both are in 1/10 scale, and both are right around $150.00 Ready to run!

Went up on the roof and replace a couple of shingles. The shingles I replaced had the nails pull threw and were just laying there 😳.

Went to work

like every other day. Covid keeps us busier than a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest. My only stress release is punching holes in paper so the Benji Prowler is getting a workout but with the hours I work, there isn't much time for that either.

I have a grandson that was staying here, that has some fast electrics and he bought an old nitro truck, so far the motor was bad when he bought it, he replaced it with a new one that turned out to be defective (the head was machined wrong) and then finally got an exchange warrantied, that ran a little bit before he moved out of State. From what I have seen the electrics are far better options for more run time per dollar and hour spent.

Dug another boat out of the rafters.
40" Octura "White Heat" 3 point hydro that's older than some members.
OS Max .45, Hitec radio, and go fast running gear.
I was proud it was stick built and it still shows.

Made a run to Andalusia, Al. Betty Lou wanted a portable steam cleaner for the RV. I got back and ordered the dual snorkle and radiator relocation combo kit for the Rancher 420 atv. Great deal from Wild Boar at $400.

Today this coon got shot in the face via 12ga bird shot. Yesterday after eating my bbq viennas and leaving a big pile of scat in my trap it got out because I forgot to unlatch the spring. Today after eating my sardines it was sleeping so I snuck up to it and gave him permanent sweet dreams. No more tearing up my yard for him and I fed the neighbor with it which really made his day as it wound up being a delicious fried coon.

Darn you beat me to it and joking aside I have heard of it but dont think I have the desire to go out of my way to try it.

I just provided the bandit so the recipe is unknown to me but I can ask next time I see them. I had another coon show up last night too. Big fat one but he's not tearing up my yard so I'll let him be.
