I got up today and discovered my Dell 19" monitor died while I slept. I had Samsung 920BW 19" that works fine setting on my other desk, and I hooked it up for a while but went out and bought an Asus 24". I now have a duel set up with a 24” main and the Samsung 920BW 19" as the secondary. I have to get use to the mouse cursor traveling back and forth, but I think I like it.
Everquest is still around?!?! I played that almost 20 years ago.

It was a long time ago.I usually leave my right side one off, its the smaller one aka secondary. My grafix card I currently have only supports two and even a third would be more than I really need. 90% of the time the right hand one stays turned off unless I really need it on for say some sort of work and quick reference so I do not have to use tabs or the ALT+T function. Most of the time I turn it on when I am playing Everquest when I run two accounts or when I run an account and have a browser open at the same time. I do that so I can keep up with GTA have some music playing and maybe have some info I need for EQ up at a glance. At one time I ran two PCs one with two monitors the other with one and two laptops. The guy who hooked up my internet that day said I dont even want to know what you are plaining on doing... Also my desk is only big enough for two to fit comfortably, it is my LIL monsters old bed frame that I built. 27x51" all 2x4 and 1/2" plywood construction set to fit to my computer chair in height. When seated I look at the top 1/3rd of my main monitor my elbows are about 3 inches lower than my hands well because 2x4 and chair arms. It may sound odd but I am used to it and that small rise is not all that big of an issue because everything is still below the blood pump. When every thing is lines up everything is some what in a nice straight line and at least to me ergonomic. I have had this computer, monitor and chair for 11 years now guess you grow into it.

Nice house. Thanks for all the pics. Yup,.. that tree would have had me real nervous too every time the strong winds would blow. Well done,... being that close to the house.I have a few around my place that I am going to have the tree guy look at. Maybe down them or just top them. Where I live,.. I can leave the main trunks as tall as I want and let the wood peckers have a go,... as long as the trunks are clear of falling onto the house.Well done!
Congratulations indeed. That was one job I know you're glad is behind you. I know you will sleep better know that danger has been eliminated. And that mishap with the window is a reminder to us all that no matter how safe we are trying to be, accidents can and do happen. You do have a beautiful place. I know you're proud of it.
Yesterday my neighbor, Adam came over to help me take some trees down around my house. One of them was an expired walnut tree that was full of ants. We cut a total of 6 trees yesterday and it went great! Only chucked one small log through a window in my office. The log bounced off the trunk, skidded down the wall and took a bad hop off the bushes back into the window. It was just a lower sash, easily replaceable, considering ALL the hazards, it was nothing to me. I boarded the window up with a sheet of 1/4” plywood until the window guy comes. Other than that small mishap, everything else came down safely and I’m indebted to my neighbor, Adam. I did have him take a shot from a few of my air rifles when we came in for lunch and he was pretty impressed with them. Like me, he’s a combat Army veteran and had no idea about airguns beyond the old Crosman pump guns. We’ll have to have a day soon to really pull them out to shoot. Also already know he’s got some HVAC work he’s going to need done. So when he’s ready, I’m going to return the favor.
