Ordered a "nice" leather sheath for my Russell Green River knife.

What model is it, the " fish knife " as they call it ?
I've got their sheep skinner in my kitchen.

I have heard it called "Fish Skinner", but more often heard it called "Hunter"
Model  4215 .    I've had it a few years, but have a very cheap, thin sheath.

It had never dawned on me that like people dogs also loose their baby teeth and grow adult teeth, and I had a bit of a scare earlier.

5 month old pepper lost one of her pre-molars, and I was kind of freaking out till I looked into it and learned this is very normal.

It's pretty rare to find a puppy tooth like I did because they usually swallow them, so I just never thought about it.
Her teeth are obviously not needle sharp like they were, but I kind of figured they they just grew becoming less fine and sharp.

I feel pretty dumb now, but I'm happy to have this information.

Back to woodworking today in the shop, I'll be cutting pine 1x12" for folding camp stools for the kids to assemble.

Then I will change gears, clean the shop and weld up some largish hangers for wood storage in the pole barn then pull the 6x6 out and change the oil and filters.

I'll do some AG stuff later tonight.

I always feel dumb in situations like this.
It always reminds me of the time back in '06 when my sister couldn't get into her car because the battery was dead and the key fob wouldn't work.

My son stays on the cutting edge of technology as part of his job in medicine working with heart patients.  And this spills over into everyday life nicely. 
When my Judy and I bought a new vehicle recently that had keyless entry and push button starting, I wondered (out loud) about what would happen if the car battery died.  How would I get into the car to open the hood to get to the battery?
It was like:  Dad, there is a metal key inside that electronic pushbutton thing that opens the door.
Okay, in my defense, I had not read the whole 'Owner's Manual' yet.  Now, I even know where the hidden keyhole is located.

I found it in my bed.
I never walk around without footwear on though.
If I'm awake and out of bed I've got my boots on my feet, my knife in my pocket , and my hat on my head.

It's been an exciting day so far. This morning I moved the outdoor plants into the garage.  I secured the patio furniture and the other outdoor table and chairs in the back yard. We've had two systems come through that caused one tornado watch and one tornado warning.  We are about halfway through this day of elevated threat level for severe weather.

This is our oldest daughter.  I was pulling into the driveway when I noticed the leprechaun trying to escape through the man gate.  I snapped a picture quick for evidence that they really do exist!  ha ha ha
