Today I found out Jesus still works miracles and I don't know why Jesus works miracles for some people and not for others but either way a miracle happened for a family member. They had a fast spreading aggressive cancer where the Dr. told them they will only live a few more months, yet after they had chemo the Dr. ran tests to confirm the cancer was indeed gone. The Dr. was astonished saying they have never seen anyone no longer having that cancer after getting it regardless if they took chemo or not!

There was another young Christian family member in their 30s with cancer who did not get that prayed for miracle and their parents were never the same after that. Not everyone gets their wanted miracle but some still do. I've heard death is the ultimate healing because they are with their God in heaven which for them is true but for the family and friends left here separated from them it can be *(&^ on earth without them sure enough until they die and are reunited with them there never to be separated from them again being together for way more time than they were here where it will all be made right in the end.

Got another mole in a trap today which brings the total over 30. I need to change the oil/filter and rocker gaskets on the mower and buy a new throttle body for my car because the current one is going screwy as they usually do within 50k miles because typical Hyundai quality.

I finished the interior trim on the ranger station renovation.  I re-hung 40’ of gutter.  Then I mixed up a couple of hundred pounds of cement.  Dug up and removed two worn out barbecue grills then replaced them with two new ones and poured cement to set them.  Oh yeah, I serviced the waterless urinals.  You do not want details on that.  I finished up the day in the penalty box.  I have to do training to improve my customer service skills.

Assembled part of the new shop toy with all the instructions carefully read, I still put it together the wrong way. I probably would have been better off without the instructions and a few beers. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. One good thing, I didn't have any extra nuts and bolts so those all went in the right place. Getting the machine onto the base is going to be interesting for sure, it weighs 150lbs. I used my backhoe to put the bandsaw head on it's base the other day, I am going to have to get creative with this one, nothing to strap to.

Thanks Jerry. After last night and Tom's suggestion, I'll just go get the case of beer and leave out the "good ol' boys" out of it and go at it again. The extra help is liable to be bigger hindrance than help and I just don't want to go there the way this week has been going for me.

Shoveled snow, twice. Watched the birds, we filled the bird feeders yesterday. Let Ayrabella play in the snow. But that didn’t last long, it was only 3*F. And the neighbor’s cow had it’s calf Friday night, so I pulled her in her sled for a visit. Temps are going to drop to -10*F tonight, not considering the windchill. Tomorrow night into Wednesday we’re supposed to get more snow but it should start getting warmer.

This is strange weather.  Yesterday the temp in El Paso was the same as here in mid-Michigan. The middle finger of the polar vortex is pointing into the deep south and missing me.  I had to sweep a dusting of snow off the front and back decks. The driveway can wait until we have a few inches. Right now I could clear last nights snow with my leaf blower.

I had to work on Valentine’s Day so we made a deal with our kids (who are living with us because of coved).  They had to give us the entire day today alone.  So the memsahib and I spent the day alone together.   Then I made bangers and mash with onion gravy for dinner (one of her favorites).  Now we are sitting together pleasantly satisfied enjoying each other’s company.😍🥰😘
