Took the memsahib to the doctor.  Seems she’s got that carpool tunnel syndrome and the quacks want to operate.  The ten year old batteries in her Honda hybrid just died so now I’ve got to scrape up the dough to replace them.

Carter, my friend, I will say first that I mean no disrespect with this reply.
When I read your post, I thought it was a joke:  CARPOOL TUNNEL SYNDROME had me thinking that. 
Next, I was amazed that those batteries on the Honda hybrid would last ten years.
Finally, the part about putting your hands in the air?

There is a scene in the Disney Pixar movie Madagascar II  where the plane is crashing and King Julien shouts "everybody put your hands in the air!".   It's a family joke when things are going wrong to say "everbody...etc."   
Carpool Tunnel Syndrome.  The irrational fear of traveling through a tunnel in a car full of people.

Carter, some years ago when I was still teaching, our school was subjected to a routine evaluation.  Many pages and charts/graphs needed to be keyboarded and printed.  I was the keyboarding teacher and some smarta$$ decided I would be a natural to do all that text entry and chart preparation.  I wound up with sore tunnels.  The left hand was more of a problem and took about four months to heal.
My son is a Physical Therapist; and by following his advice, I avoided surgery. 
Good luck to your memsahib and I hope she heals quickly.

Just got back from Son #3’s house. They closed on it today and he has it all ripped apart already.

The important part is he has a good 50-75 yards for shooting!

Driver seat had some tears. I trace and cut some ballistic nylon to fit the butt part.

Put 527 glue all around the perimeter + some. Put patch down, sat on it, turned on car with foot heater and seat warmer turned up for a while.

Needs reupholstered eventually.

Helped my grandson pull the transmission out of his 1985 Chevy Pickup and change the rear freeze plugs and put it the transmission back in. We didn't plan on it today though and didn't start on it until 1:30 P.M. we finished getting it all done and the tools put away at 6:30 P.M., but we took about an hour + of breaks in there too. I let him do most of it, I mostly guided and handed him tools. I did help put the Transmission back in and I put the driveshaft in while he started clean up.

That's neat Dan. Good memory that he'll remember. Never did any of that with my grandfather but I did through him in a way with his company mechanic who was a good one and I learned quite a bit from him with us working on my GMC truck back in the day.

I had to dispatch a fox that was after my chickens this morning, then my gf ordered a box blade while we were eating breakfast. Later I was working on some wine, that I am making, when the box blade got delivered. I spent all afternoon fixing the driveway to one of her rental houses with the new box blade.

I have been dealing with chicken killers as well, working traps to get rid of the pests. Ordered more woodworking equipment, so my time this weekend is in the shop making room for it. If weather permitting hunt a little.

Yup Kris.....there will.... Always ...be more snow where I live.
Up here we have... Winter... then ....it is ...getting ready for next winter.

Hi Tom.

Yep.   Your right.   I think that the polar vortex is going to hit Michigan too.

+5 F. today with an 18-22 mph NW wind that brings the wind chill factor down to - 16 F.
The temps are still dropping too. The high this weekend will all be below zero.

I spent a few years with my GPa in Cass Lake Minnesnowta. Those temps would be called cold by the toughest of the residents. Michigan gets moderated somewhat by being surrounded by the Great Lakes so it won't get much below zero for us. Wind chill is always something else. Stay warm guy. Recuperate from that COVID.

Straightened up the shop finally, swept the floors, vacuumed the floors and some of the stringy dust webs in the ceiling framework.  I blew the carport, sidewalks and driveway clear and organized boots and shoes that are by the back door.  I also cleaned up my targets out in the yard so I can start fresh next time I’m out to shoot.  I need to head into work this afternoon and I have a 16 hour shift for tomorrow.  I don’t wish my life away but I am ready to have a weekend here soon!  I’m needing it.
