Nothing much, NOTHING outdoors... High of 44 (high real feel 36) and 23 mph winds today, so I'll just stay in today.

Well it snowed lightly for about an hour but then rained a little and hailed a little. We still have a little white but not a full covering at my house. Kind of reminds me of Elkhart IN weather today with slush. I had gone To Temecula Motorsports with my grandson and missed most of it.

Had a leaky tire on my car turns out the rim was cracked so I had to juggle a lot of things around get my rim home and I welded the crack now I'm getting my tire put back on hooray fun morning.

Portland roads are terrible

Johnny, don't move to Louisiana.  Now, Tennessee is a whole different story - GREAT roads - even the tiny farm-to-market back roads.  I haven't had a bicycle tire flat in the three years we have lived here.

Good Morning Mike. I would IMMEDIATELY notice good roads, envious. Portland is only 15 minutes away and we stay away. I went to get some aluminum tubing, in Portland, and hit a crater on the freeway and it took out my rim. Your good roads sound VERY nice.

I was a hardcore cyclist for years but it really got to be too stressful (not fun anymore) so i quit. We live in the suburbs and ride Catrike Expedition three-wheeled recumbents now. Peaceful. Mine is red and The Missus' is blue. Mine is a little tricked out and I hit 44mph on it a few days back with a tailwind

Shoveled snow over and over and over again. I'm trying to keep a area clear where my dashuhund who can barely walk has some where to go to the bathroom. Her back went out and so her back legs have just barely enough strength to walk on level solid ground. She also has cushings which doesn't help.

It is stable once you get the rhythm right, just don't bomb a hill with it, that is how I ended up with the T-8, the guy that owned it let his brother on it and tried to bomb a hill with it, he bombed alright, the owner put it up for sale the next day for $40 and I couldn't pass the deal up considering what they cost new. It's easy on the joints that's why I have it. I can get a work out and enjoy the scenery as well. I bought the T-12 used it does better on old bumpy roads.

I had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome pretty bad. I researched and I said no to the operation, switched to working left-handed for a long time, and did the recommended stretches and exercises, watch my diet, and got over it. I am ambidextrous so that was an option for me. I knew several that had surgery at that time, for one it worked, the others saw no improvement after the surgery. I wish your wife all the best, but I have to say avoid the surgery if at all possible. It probably is not going to go away overnight but if a person is diligent about the exercises that seem silly, they help little by little. Just do a search for the exercises and you will come up with a lot.

Diet is a factor, there are foods that should be eaten and certain foods to avoid too. Inflammation plays a huge roll in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and there are foods that help and some that are harmful.

The surgery has come a long way over the years. My Mom, Dad, Aunt and several co-workers have had it done. The most recent ones were very quick recovery and worked great. The older ones worked also, but recovery was longer. I would research the syndrome, see if there is different types and different surgeries. Some doctors may use an older method that takes longer to recover and some may use a newer method.

I (just) bought a $16 dollar brace to wear at night for my left wrist. I will see how that works and go from there. It is not bad, but gets worse if the wrist sees a bunch of activity/stress. Good luck. I would try a brace of some sort first before surgery.

When I read your post, I thought it was a joke:  CARPOOL TUNNEL SYNDROME had me thinking that. 
Next, I was amazed that those batteries on the Honda hybrid would last ten years.

He said that what I had was Dupuytren's Disease and he showed me his hands and that he had it too. He said that it comes from your European ancestry and not to be too worried about it. Anyone else ever hear of that?
