On my way home from New Bern North Carolina, I lost the front driver's side wheel bearing.
I was doing 75 mph at the time.
Managed to not wreck or kill anyone.
Truck is in a shop now for repairs as I have a few beers to calm my nerves!

Went weekly shopping (masked up). Came home. Had a beer. Prepped up fresh veggie stuff. Had a shot. Did a bit of cooking and will do more tomorrow. Had a beer. Changed suet feeder. Had a shot. (hey,.. it was a long walk!) I did finally get a "certified???" USPS check in the mail from a recent sell. 13+ days,.. I think. Paid electric bill. Had a beer. Fresh shot on deck.

I think that is about it.

I don't wanna talk about it... day #3 of a new material trial. With volcanic smoldering embers raining down on me , the operators, and my Maint Techs trying to make this junk trial material run on our new 1.5 million line.
 Plant President came to visit and heard me yell... "Get this "F-ing SH*t out of my new machine!!!!"
May have been perceived as good because I care or not as being disordinant ... Frankly Scarlet I don't give a ...
I been at this too long to go home with blisters on my head, neck, and back from burning embers blowing like Mnt. Saint Hellenes.
It's friggin PLASTIC... there is a reason I chose not to work in a foundry for Christ sakes!!!

That was my favorite show when I was a kid, I loved all the stuff they were making up.
At least I assumed they were making this stuff up, I was sure they had no clue what they were actually saying.

Back in the field for the first time since April.  Out at the point at dawn I saw a manatee heading up river and just a minute later I saw two wild turkey feeding on acorns in the picnic area.  About thirty minutes later I got to see a marsh hawk stoop at the edge of a pond.  It caught something, and swooped up to branch to eat it.  I couldn’t see what it was but it was extremely cool to watch.  A truly great day at work but I pushed too hard. I have to pace myself.  I was whipped by two o’clock.

Drank coffee. Packed up a defective scope to send back for credit. Drank coffee. My wife and I walked around the property,  I drank some  coffee then sat in the swing. I grilled burgers for dinner.

Yesterday at work, I sliced open the backside of 2 fingers on a piece of sheet metal that slipped. The nice lady showed no concern for my pain, but said she’d clean the blood off the floor “for me”. She was very polite, but pretty sure she was not happy with me, even though I did my own first aid & fixed the machine that’s been giving them problems for months.
