Took a sandwich bag full of baked salted pumpkin seeds from my Jack O' Lantern out to my sister.

How much is shipping if I order some? 
I did bake some once and they came out great. Now I have a hankerin' for them.

Jerry I can tell you how I baked them oven temps and all, the rest is just washing off the goop and salting the &^^& out of them, I didn't add any butter to them or anything I just put them in the oven at 300 degrees for about 50 minutes. I do have half a sandwich bag left if you're serious, I have no idea what shipping would be LOL  My dad doesn't like them and I just made them for nostalgia purposes 😜 All I know is cleaning a pumpkin is not that dissimilar to cleaning a small game animal🐰🎃  LOL!!

The seeds are the only thing I've been successful at making into food on a pumpkin, I tried cooking one like a squash once and it was horrible LOL I figured you were kidding, I was just playing along;)

Fixed the "doggie door" in the fence. The downed trees on the fence will have to wait another week. Fixed a coworker's wife's sewing machine that had been a closet queen for a while. A small allen screw had backed out on the drive shaft and it wouldn't sew. She had carried it to a repair shop and the guy gave her the song and dance routine that it was to old and couldn't get parts for it. All he wanted to do was sell her a fancy, expensive, electronic one. What she has will last several life times over. I have a working treadle sewing machine that is about 150 years and is still going strong.

I have toned down the booze A LOT in the last 3 months because of the symptoms I thought was the cause.... 
I am committing the help of focusing on Air guns and my newest bike build to keep them working what I got.

You gotta get rid of that booze all together Pal, just throw what you have away TODAY and turn your back on it. I'll do anything I can to help you, email me, call me whatever it takes, but you gotta put that booze down forever. Ask me how I know this<<<!!!!!!   I haven't drank in almost 5 years and had I known how things would turn out I would NEVER  have drank at all. Things are going a lot better now, but I sure paid for it.  I lost a friend since Kindergarten to liver failure in 2014 he was 45 years old. There are lots of things you can do to slow dementia down and the first thing in your control is to stop drinking. I hope things go well for you and if there is anything I can do just message me and I'll do what I can.

Not all Pumpkins are equal. If you want a real good pumpkin to eat like a squash you need to get a Cinderella pumpkin, Jarrahdale pumpkin, Lumina pumpkin, Peanut pumpkin, or "Pie pumpkins" which are those that encompasses several pumpkin varieties grown for eating and have great texture and flavor.. Many varieties are dry, stringy, or watery and bland that are grown for decoration and carving only. Oh and you can make a great "Pumkin Pie" with a lot of the winter squash varieties. (you do need to make adjustments for the moisture content)

just took a break from sitting with the wife and sorting through years of slides.  i shot Kodachrome 64 from the early 70s until 2009 when it was discontinued.   i went digital that year and put up all my film and slides.  now we are going through all those years and discarding unwanted slides and sorting them chronologically.  i estimate we need to go through about 6,000.    good bad weather something to do together activity.


looking at the slides i realize why i liked 64 so much.  we all look so much younger and thinner!

I had no idea there were so many different varieties of pumpkins ...Holy Cow!  Mine that I cooked like a squash was the watery bland variety LOL  Here's a picture of this years Jack O Lantern from outside

Been busy in the yard for the past couple weeks.
▪ Had limbs overhanging over the roof. Some touching.   ( I cut and hauled those away).
▪Dug up three shrubs ( Predicted I would hit the waterline)
     ☆ I hit the waterline yesterday.  ( My prediction came true )    The waterline comes into the house right below the power meter. The shrubs on the left in the picture.
The bottom picture is the finished bed.

▪ One more shrub to dig up.

▪ Built a compost bin for my wife.

Put some corn out for the deer.

Now, just have the half acre or so past the shop to pick up.

Ron, I feel your pain, 2 years later I am still cleaning up after hurricane michael. Now I am sitting here waiting to see where Eta goes.

Spent an hour and a half fighting with a leaky faucet spout, swapping o-rings in hopes of getting the leak to quit...It won . Nuther' size on the way. Should have applied the 3x rule, if you think it will take 30 minutes; it will take an hour and a half....
