Brett which lights did you get, from Home Depot or where? I need to do that as well.

I took a chance and went with these from Harbor Freight.  I was a bit reluctant so I bought 2 and hung them.  There was such a drastic difference with the fluorescents I had I went back and bought the remaining 4 on the shelf.  Went from 10 fixtures down to 6 and it’s much much brighter out there.  So $132 later I am very pleased.  These are very basic lights.  Time will tell to see how they last but right now I’m loving the light!

I bought 2 for my shop, I can see now and no more tubes to buy either. I got mine for $19.99 with coupon. At least you can get in your shop, I am still climbing over stuff in mine. I am waiting for a few weeks of dry weather to pull everything out, get it sorted, and throw out the unused junk.

My shop is supposed to be a place to build projects.  It's ends up being project all on its own!

Got my MRI on my Noggin yesterday.
Today got the results. Showed "Brain Cell Atrophy: nerve cell death/tissue loss. Common with Dementia/Alzheimer's/Parkinson's".

Well you don't say Doc... my brain cells!
So....how do I tell you that I eliminated as many of those little guys as I could for 20 years starting in 1978. 

Now in 2020 I guess I am going to start paying for it.

Welcome to my world Scott. Until I started taking ginko baloba (sic) I was having a heck of a time remembering things. Doc prescribed aeroset for me but it really doesn't help. The ginko really helps.

Mine is suppose to be that way, but the hurricane had other plans, I had to store stuff from the damage storage until I can get that mess fixed. I have a brand new band saw, scroll saw, and spindle sander still in their boxes. I am having to clean out the back forty of the shop so I can get them set up and out of the door way. Getting a dumpster is impossible right now, so it's 4 96 gal garbage cans to get the mess out and gone. My backhoe has become a trash compactor.

Between my 4 daughters, In-Laws' and Out-Laws "stuff" in my shop for storage... I don't want to think about how much space I would gain if I brought in a 40 yard open top Dumpster.

Assembled new feeder to help squirrel chew proof.  So far for a week of watching they yet to try to jump on it   .  Also sprayed the lid with clear teflon spray coating ...lol.  may add a rubber toy snake on top of they try as well.

I think this will beat the plastic or wood  container feeder types.

Also I grabbed 2 led shop lights a month or so ago and like there lighting out put.

I have toned down the booze A LOT in the last 3 months because of the symptoms I thought was the cause.... 
I am committing the help of focusing on Air guns and my newest bike build to keep them working what I got.

You gotta get rid of that booze all together Pal, just throw what you have away TODAY and turn your back on it. I'll do anything I can to help you, email me, call me whatever it takes, but you gotta put that booze down forever. Ask me how I know this<<<!!!!!!   I haven't drank in almost 5 years and had I known how things would turn out I would NEVER  have drank at all. Things are going a lot better now, but I sure paid for it.  I lost a friend since Kindergarten to liver failure in 2014 he was 45 years old. There are lots of things you can do to slow dementia down and the first thing in your control is to stop drinking. I hope things go well for you and if there is anything I can do just message me and I'll do what I can.

Been doing the same for two days now chain sawing and trimming a lot of brush out of the way to repair some fencing and drive some posts so it won't be so easy for boar to cross onto my property. Thorn ripped around my shoe and got the back of my ankle so I shredded it to bits with the trimmer. Justice! I'm wore out so it's recoup time.

I did find the "doggie door", so I will repair that in the morning. I have a tree top on the fence in one place and a wax myrtle wrapped in the fence in another place. Both places are hurricane damage. I am worn out as well.

Believe it or not, yesterday and today I've been using the chainsaw and pole saw to trim the Bradford Pear tree limbs from hanging over the house.

Also took out four overgrown shrubs today.

The little compact tractor I have has saved my rear end in cleaning up after the hurricane. I have a front end loader and backhoe on this one which I can take both or one off anytime. The backhoe has a thumb on it which comes in handy for lifting trees for cutting, digging up the stumps, or putting stuff on the burn pile without get fried in the process.

I cull all this stuff during the AC season for extra cash during the winter. Over the winter I make several trips to get rid of it all. I’ve never technically gotten rid of it “all”. This year I’d like to clean it all out, I’d like to build a shop on top of the concrete pad my scrap pile is on (and my wife will stop complaining about the eye-sore). Of course, that’ll only happen if I stop bringing this stuff home. But I’ve been making extra cash like this for years.

I'm sorry Jerry, I only buy one pumpkin a year and sis got the lion's share of the seeds. This is the first time I've baked pumpkin seeds since we were kids LOL It's messy and getting all the goop off the seeds is the worst part of it 🎃

+1!  I make a scrap run every three or four months.  Sometimes I make a couple hundred bucks.  I don't really work at it but people know I scrap and are always offering me stuff.  "If I'll haul it off".

yesterday i finished all the outside projects that needed completion before listing the house.  i have 9 extra bags of wood mulch that are now in front of our firewood rack stopping pellets.   


this morning in 35 mph winds i cut up all the non treated lumber and split it for the fire pit.  brought all the treated lumber scraps into the shop to build planters with, and  cleaned out the garage.


after breakfast i'll organize and put up all the boating equipment for the winter.  then i'll bring up the bird feeders from the shop that i repaired and painted after the squirrels and raccoons destroyed them.
