Several years ago we adopted a puppy that had been abandoned in a local shelter. A mutt but curiosity led us to have DNA run on her so we could tell what her "lineage" was. Got the results a few days ago. Her mother was purebred Stafford Terrier (aka pit bull). Her father was a mixed breed of golden retriever, German shorthair pointer, and Scottish Deerhound with a smattering of heinz 57. Explained a lot of her characteristics.

What does a test like that cost (ballpark).

Empty the truck of animal feed, then start down the fence line to finish opening it up and find where one dog is going through the fence, he ended up on the highway on Sunday, this was the second time in 2 days he pulled this stunt. I don't want to loose this one, he's a good guard dog. You can not get in the yard with this one. The building inspector found out the hard way after the hurricane, he got his pants yanked off as he was going back over the gate. I have 4 dogs and he is the fastest when it comes keeping people out of the yard.

At work we have installed a new line.. It is a Mac-Daddy... all high tech.
Out-put was fine for 4 shifts then went south...

Everyone scrambling... blaming the new line... I, as the Maintenance Manager found nothing wrong... and was dumbfounded.
The line is doing it's job. I SWEAR!
At the end of the day it was determined the incoming material was to blame.
Pee'ed up a rope for 8 hours....

Battery went south in the RV this weekend so I replaced that yesterday. My mechanic called. He is ready for me to bring it in for the driver's side rear spring replacement. Also gonna have him remove the auto leveling jack system. It's not working and just kinda hangs under there adding unneeded weight. I level, when needed, with manual jacks. Gonna have him service it as well.... change fluids and check tire pressures.
I'll leave work a couple hours early today get it to him.

Just dropped off my 07 Ford ranger to finally get my airbag replaced under recall. They've only been bugging me for over 5 years.🤪 It's only 110 miles round-trip to the dealership.☹️

There wasn't 😁 The dealer I bought the truck from is about 400 miles from where I live now. I had a choice of Prescott or Flagstaff. Kingman is is about 90 miles one way.

Seems like all I’ve done this summer is fix one thing after another on the family fleet of cars. Today I replaced the rear air shocks on the Buick Lesabre with some coil over conversion kit shocks. It doesn’t ride quite as smooth but it doesn’t wag its tail any more on a bumpy road.

I replaced the front brake cables on my 1994 Yamaha Moto-4 350cc 4-wheeler yesterday. I didn't finish the adjustments so this morning that is my project.

My father bought this ATV for his birthday present to himself in March 1994 and he sold it to me on 2001 when he replaced it with a Kawasaki Mule side-by-side. He passed away in 2010. I sure miss him. He was my hero, my daddy, my best friend; I am the man I am today because of him.

So yes I'm sentimental, I could have a bigger, newer 4-wheeler but this one reminds me of him. Besides that, it runs as good today as a new one even if it is 26 years old.

This Monday through Wednesday I went 364.5 miles north to the Sequoia National forest and stayed at Hume Lake Christian camp 18 miles from Grant Grove. We had a great time with 47 friends there and beautiful scenery. The air quality was a little less than perfect because of some smoke particles that could be seen as a gray haze but it wasn't too bad to still hike around the lake and enjoy the time there.

Old friend of the family is clearing out his shop. Offered me a bike project.
I have known this bike for +45 years as it was up in the rafters of the Drag Racing shop I pit-crewed for as a youth.

Vintage A75 BSA Rocket 3 chopper... so stinkin cool but rougher than I remembered.
We are still searching for parts amoung the BB Mopar stuff.
BUT it is mine!

'67 B44 Victor 441 Roadster (single)
'67 A65 Spitire 650 (twin)
and now this '70s A75 Rocket 3 (triple)

I had a friend in high school who drove a VW Thing and then traded it for a Super Beetle, or the other way around? I don't remember which came first, actually his mom owned them both but she worked nights and he drove them most days to school.
