Got out the brand new Pressure Washer to just start it and see how it runs. Filled the oil, checked it and left the Washer sitting under the rear patio cover.

Got a hair cut, the little one in front, and stopped at Lowes to get a new aerator for the kitchen sink. Found out Lowes doesn't sell aerators by model of faucet, WHAT, you need to know the OD of the part, not sure you might need to know the thread size too. I need to remove the old one and take it with me.

I stayed in most of the day browsing the "interwebs" as a guy says sometimes. I did remembered to and changed the oil on my shop compressor from the late 70's and Leaving it set at 125 would be the right thing to do so, I adjusted the shut off pressure up to 130 PSI, "which will be perfect"
Yes, I have been watching https://www.youtube.com/c/vicegripgarage probably too much, I enjoy his videos.

Only getting to a high in the 90s today,,, high 90's, I might get outside and do something !

Still have stone to move in for landscaping, the tractor will handle the moving so it might get a little donjon that.
The Wife, and I, built an enclosed high bed garden, things grew this year like none other. You should have seen the Rabbits running around the enclosure, easy pickings !

Still have to clean the office too... "The Honey Do" list never goes away !

Getting the last of my grapes picked before the rains knock them down. I have put over 40lbs of them in the freezer. I have the domestic cultivar scuppernong and muscadine and the wild ones that grow on my property. Sorbet and some jelly will be made from them later on.

Drove a fellow disabled vet to a VA hospital appointment yesterday. He bought me lunch and we stopped @ Cabelas on the way back. I restocked my ultra light trout supplies.

Here is a pic of my/that old 3hp 30 gallon shop compressor that still works great. I have had to change the control unit and I rebuilt the compressor head once. I have used it a lot over the years painting houses, cars, doing auto-body work, and mechanical work too. By the time it needs another rebuild someday the parts may not be available. Sure new units can be purchased but with less quality IMO.

Cut my yard and my son's today, and we have started cutting the meadow between us.
Started this morning at 6:45 cut till 1:00. I figure between 13 and 14 acres.
60" scag. Yes......I'm tired.

How much gas does that take? I think my wife gets a month or two out of the gallon tank, but then again I don't think the front yard is even a quarter acre...

Then the BIG Weed Whip comes out and I am hoping to get some brush cut before it gets hot.

Weeded some of my garden, I was looking for the leaf eater of my egg plants, I eventually found the culprit, nice, plump cutworm. Waiting to see how much more damage these storms will bring.

Betty Lou and I went to check out new atv park yesterday. We just took the truck for a discovery run. Awesome place called Bama Slam.

They let us enter the park at no charge just to check it out. We went to the Saloon next to the swimming hole and had a burger and a beer. The band was setting up for the evening events. Definitely a must do spot. Probably our next adventure.
On the way back we found an Odd Lots. We ended up buying new recliner for $300. After we got home I went to work on a planned project. I ripped the booth style dinette out of the RV and put the Realtree recliner in that was in the house. The new recliner that actually compliments the living room sofa and loveseat went into the house.
Man, did that ever open up the space in the RV. I took the fold down dinette table and cut it down to make 16" x 16" corner table and put a 3 drawer Rubbermaid chest under it to store goggles, gloves, hats and other atv related odds and end in it. The top is perfect for a lamp and TV remotes.
Betty Lou plans to change the rest of the decor colors to greens and browns. It's really starting to turn into the camping/fishing/atv "Mud Yacht" we intended it to be.
Next project will be ripping out all the remaining stained carpet and laying down vinyl wood grain tile squares. The previous owner did the center walkway and left me plenty to complete the job. Carpet will remain in the bedroom.

Our last outing was a total mud fest. While positioning the RV into our space I slid sideways and stuck the nose of the guy's next to us Dodge Ram pickup into the door for the dump station on the RV. We had a laugh and a beer about it but, I have to pull the door off and straighten it out..... hammer time...

Betty Lou had a hissy fit but me and the other guy had a laugh about that too.

Just as I was figuring out how I was going to fit zeroing the new scope on the DPMS A4 into my day I got called out to work. So I got my work done and took a nap. Promised my wife I’d take her out to dinner, and promised my little shooting partner a water gun fight. So we’re going to put our swimsuits on and have a shoot out while we still can and then we’re off to get some Mexican. Oh well, I’ll get that scope zero’d this week coming up.

Well, that's hard to say. His tanks were not full when I started, I puts 5 gallons in part way through and then topped it off with about 3 gallons when finished. It's a 27 hp Kohler.
I have six 2.5 gallon gas cans, I burn non-ethanol gasoline.

When we built our house in 1978 we fenced in a part of our backyard with a chain link fence (55' x 100') to provide a safe playground for our toddler. Our grandchildren are old enough that the fence is no longer needed. I took it down this weekend.

Today all I did was work and sleep, but yesterday I went fishing at a pond with my brother and my moms husband.

I had a couple almost catches of some small bass, but I've gotta replace the treble hooks on all my small crankbaits. I completely forgot that I was getting them on sale because the hooks were barbless.
I didn't catch anything, but my mom's husband got a small bass and one bluegill.
I was just happy to finally get to cast a line for the first time in a few years, I've really gotta make more of an effort to find the time.
