You must be in demand Scott. My father was always being recruited by charity fish fries. Man he could fry fish!

HA-HA! I do love me some "Jorts".
Whew, I joked about shooting the Nitro a few days back. Well I almost did. I forgot I shoved it behind the cane poles back by the barn. I drew down a bead on a cast iron lid I have hanging in the cane with the FD-PCP and noticed something shiny through the scope...Ok, we'll be moving the Nitro this morning.
Saved a life...Got a phone call from my bedridden neighbor "killer".He was choking and barely audible. All I could make out was "Smoke in the kitchen".I jumped in the truck and was there in seconds. I opened the front door and the smoke about knocked me out. There he was in his hospital bed with the blankets over his face.I called out and he responded, "Kitchen" In the kitchen I found a dish towel on the stove that had ignited from the pilot light and was smoldering. I tossed that on the floor and stomped it out.... in hindsight I should have tossed it in the sink and turned on the water but it just happened too quick. My mind was on Killer.Killer weighes well over 500lbs... there was no way I could move him with my gimp left arm.So I opened doors and windows. Put fans in them to draw the smoke out and strapped killer's oxygen on.So, what happened? There is a guy and a girl living in a camping trailer on Killer's property. They look after him. The girl cooks/cleans and the guy mows and what not. The girl left the dish rag on the stove after cooking his dinner this evening and went back to their camper. Their cell phone does not get signal in the camper.Luckily I was home.... that was a close one.
