Yesterday was mowing the girlfriend's side-yard, contact my landlord about breaking the lease (I've completely moved in with the GF), a couple loads of laundry (never-ending with 7 dogs and 2 cats), some power-washing floor-mats (rubber-backed; the GF didn't know this was possible and rugs look new now!), and some exploration of her tractor and the line-trimmer.

The tractor is in fine running shape now; I need to get some curved ramps to load it into my truck so we can take it over to the place on the creek- I don't mind push-mowing nearly 2 acres but doing so really cuts into Leshiy-Time.  The line trimmer has got to be every bit of 30 years old if not more, so I'm looking forward to getting it operational.  This tendonitis thing has me doing things wayyyy too slowly for my taste, but the GF keeps asking me how I manage to get so much done.

Wrapped up another week’s work and just got done mowing... still have to whack-weeds in the morning though. But after that, everything will be Airgun-Related for Saturday.

Backed the RV up to the water and power source. Plugged it in and slid the slider out. Betty Lou wants to get in there and give it a good cleaning tomorrow after our last adventure. No plans to go anywhere this weekend. Another week until our 4 week (this year) summer shutdown at work. Plenty of adventures planned during that time.

Now that some relief from the Covid lock down is easing, I was Voluntold I was grill master at the Golf course this morning.
 9:00 I grilled 120 brats. Home by 11:00 and shot the Xisico Sentry a bit.... now jumping on the mower.

You are right about the Rhubarb, the work and the six weeks without snow.

There are 4 Rhubarb plants at the south end.  The rest are Day Lilies, Morning Glories and a few Hosta plants on the top row next to the Morning Glories.

The other day I stripped and refinished my Corcoran jump boots, and today I've been working on shining the toes.
It's going to take many many more coats to get 'em where they should be but I'll get there.

I'll give the rest of the boots a light shining,  but I wanna give the toes as close to a parade shine as I can get.

I've got my work boots, my rough and dirty yard work boots,  and my casual boots I'm not afraid to get things done in, but these are gonna be my dress boots.

Bantam, those boots made me cringe.   I used to have identical boots.  A long time ago when I was a rookie LEO, I had a sargent who was possibly the stupidest, most incompetent, characterless A-hole I've ever had the displeasure of working with.   Too cowardly to back you up.  Too stupid or lazy to write a proper report.   But he was really good at shining  boots and badges.   He would yell at me because my brass and boots didn't meet his standards of excellence.  After I was on the department for a while and understood the game a little better, I made it a point to not have shiny boots when he was also on duty, just to p--ss him off.    I don't ever plan to shine footwear again as long as I live.
