Spent the afternoon helping a friend empty his basement. Had 6 ft of water in recent flood when 2 dams failed 15 miles upstream. Had just paid off the bills from the last flood damage -- 3 years ago.
For the first time in my life I underwent surgery that was not conducted in an emergency room or inflicted by my own stupidity. I consider this a milestone in my life! Some day I may become a real adult. Hopefully no time soon. I had Rotator cuff surgery today. Those of you who had this procedure Know what that is like. I'm feeling pretty beat up but the pain block is still working so It's not too bad yet. Thanks for all the advice and support folks!
Day 3 of our ISO audit at work. Today was Maintenance in the "Hot Seat".This years auditor knows her SH-TUFF! Has held many hats including a Maintenance Manager in an Automotive plant. (same as Me for the last 20 years). My Scheduled, Unscheduled, Preventative Maintenance was good. Spare Parts association to assets and Min / Max followed by cycle counts helped. All told I think I did well, might get an observation for "Predictive Maintenance" but I tap-danced around that. (thank you covid-19) Closing meeting tomorrow... Better not get a Minor and sure as HECK no Major non-conformance... I HATE that paperwork!
