I've been stuck on Honey Grahams and ice cold milk lately.
<----- Rambo and I can destroy a whole inner packet in 1 sitting. He loves ice cold milk as well.
Betty Lou cracks up at us sitting side by side sharing crackers and milk like a couple kids.

My 2 dogs and I are the same, share everything, even my milk. Though, I try to make sure I’m done with the milk before they can have it.

Oh yeah, he definitely has to wait until I'm done. He is so funny.... his eyes shift between mine and that glass until I am done.

There was an announcement yesterday at my job that the assembly and press departments would not run production today. I already had trucks scheduled to come in today so I asked for volunteers in my department (materials) to come in and unload them.... 4 volunteered. Office workers, such as myself, were still scheduled to work.
I had already reserved an RV campsite for the weekend at the atv park so I decided to put in a vacation day for myself for today.
So the plan now is to take our time and load things up, stock the RV and maybe head out this afternoon instead of in the morning.

I was scheduled to work 4 (32 hours) in a row at work but the day shift lineman called out so I was called in to work Friday day.  It's 5 (40 hours) in a row now. 6 hours into a 40 hour shift.  I have a loooooong way to go until the weekend.

I did the daily grind for a Maint Mngr... explained why machines broke, ordered parts for those that did, and tried to figure out how to keep it from happening again.

Oh... and find USED machines worth a darn to satisfy our expansion... without any issues... because the "Boss" doesn't want to cough up the funds for another $1.5 million line... but needs to instead of buying used junk.

Junk machines are a maintenance nightmare.  Once your boss buys them, you will have to get them operating and running to spec.  Then it will be expected that they preform like new ones.  That generally doesn't happen.  Good luck Scott.

I am glad I am not Repair Machinist-Millwright any more.

Spent the afternoon helping a friend empty his basement. Had 6 ft of water in recent flood when 2 dams failed 15 miles upstream. Had just paid off the bills from the last flood damage -- 3 years ago.

The Gomers are back at the park.  The Gov. opened all the state parks for the Memorial day weekend and we are shorthanded because of all the wildfires.  Several of our crew are out on strike teams so I got stuck in the "penalty box" (AKA Ranger Station) dealing with the crowds.  I would much rather be fighting fire.     Anyhoo...  I did "Interpretation"  all day for clueless people.  More of the same today, but after that I'm gonna be off for maybe three months recuperating from surgery.  I ain't happy about that either.

Ahhh the hammock!  I just set mine up yesterday.  I actually slept in one of those daily for like two years.  Then something changed and I get claustrophobic.  Never slept better in my life than when I slept in that hammock.  Got to try it again...

I did make it home.  Those are loooong stretches of time to be at work.  I'm taking this week off again so 9 days off in a row.  I wish that I had enough time off to do this for the rest of my career.  Ha ha! 

I actually shot 2 air rifles so far and added a picatinny rail section to the front of the 400.  I also took the Wildcat apart and upped the reg pressure.  I was zinging 8.4 JSBs out at 930 fps and 10.34 out at 860.  The 8.4 opedup but the 10.3 turned into a laser.  I'm thinking I'll keep it where it's at for a bit and see how many shots I'm getting.  If it's still up over 100 shots per fill, I'll keep it there and order more 10.3 pellets.  I'm low on quite a few pellets these days so I need to replenish anyway.  Off to enjoy some more sun and fun with my peeps!
