Started to grind down a 36'x40" concrete slab.. One of my dogs loves to be chased. But he stops abruptly on the poured slab going to my man door of my garage. Since it's like a cheese grater, he's skinning his paws. 

Hopefully It will help, till I can find a soft rubber mat that will fit there.

picked up our order from the meat market.  10 lbs of cheesy brats, 10 lbs of polish sausage, 10 lbs of italian sausage, and 10 lbs of breakfast sausage.  my sister already gave us about 30 lbs of steaks, 20 lbs of ground beef, 30 lbs of pork lions and chops.  i spent the entire afternoon pressing burgers and grilling.  i went through 43 lbs of charcoal.  it took me over 2 1/2 hours to vacuum seal all the meat and get it in the freezer.  now when we want to have some of it, we place it in a pot of COLD water and bring it to a boil.  once boiling, continue for 10 to 15 minutes and remove from the bag.  it will taste great.  not dry, not over cooked, not even reheated, but fresh off the grill great.
we sail for weeks at a time and have been doing this for years. it's way better than cleaning up grill splatter in the cockpit and you can have fresh off the grill taste in any weather.

No.   At least not all.   Some will and some won't.   I've seen it already in my BACK yard.


However, now I have a better legal footing.
Does "No Trespassing" mean "Welcome, come on in!" in another language?  (chuckle)

Either that, or there are a LOT of illiterate and inconsiderate people who simply think my yard is public property... signs or not.

Just got home from working the OT. It’s not the job, but the stress I’ve been putting up with for ten years. As soon as I walk thru the door, Ayrabella says “can we shoot guns?”... I hate saying no, but we’re going to shoot as much as we want tomorrow and Sunday afternoon. I’m taking a bath til dinner. Sloppy Joe’s!

Setup solar powered motion sensing security lights in the yard via T posts and bailing wire to see if they will scare away the hogs when detected. If not they will act as light blinds to prevent them from seeing me approach to shoot them. Relocated the trail cams to catch them better when they do arrive. Had a coon do some damage behind my shop so I put a trap out for it and setup another trail cam to film whatever checks it out or goes in it. Did some mowing, tree cutting and weed eating.

It's paracord.  My wife wanted a clothes line that didn't stand out. Two lines, both originating from each of two post on the fort, one to a pecan tree and the other to a 8 foot post in the corner of the fenced yard.
From where I shoot on the patio one is 18 yards and the 22 yards.

Did a lot of yard work today. Went to the gun shop for more ammo. Dude in their indoor range was shooting a full auto AR15. I don't know how he could even see the target with that 1-1/2ft wide muzzle flash but it was neat to witness him shooting in 20+ rd bursts.

Work work work.  Marathon shifts at work.  It was quiet too so that made it seem extra loooong.  All is well and it's nearly time to wrap it up for the week and go home for the weekend!  Yay!

Did a 39 mile dual sport ride on my KTM 625. 33 miles off road. Man was that fun!!! A little sore this morning but not like I'd expect. It was on unmaintained dirt roads and 2 track trails. Never had been on any of them before so was kinda wondering in the direction I wanted to go.

That sounds real nice.  Those make some of the best trips, ones with no time or route constraints.  Just go and enjoy the ride and not think about the destination.

Enjoying a re-webbed lawn chair and repairing crushed wire chicken pens. Most of my chicken pens were crushed by trees during the hurricane. I turned them loose before the storm hit and everyone of them made it through the storm, I have no idea were they stayed to ride it out.  I have chicks hatching and need brooder cages to grow them out so the crushed cages will be recycled for that purpose and keeps me from buying more cage wire for minute. Still working on clear out a space for the coop. Just taking it one day a time.
