Painting the window trim. We had 90% of the windows replaced in the late fall, complete with all new trim.

So doing the window at the end of the stairs and the office. Since the wife is off. Then Ill do the bathroom. Then the Kitchen.

The living room, den and bedroom will be the hardest, since it the 3 areas the cats and dogs jump onto the sills.

Finished loading the 9mm ammo.
Edged and cut the grass
Trimmed the bushes.
Took out the trash cans.
Paid the water bill.
Paid the property tax.

Found a bird nest under my tractor hood near the battery so I tossed the nest and blasted out all the debris with the air gun. Cleaned 80ft of fence line debris that was 2ft high leaning the fence over a little at the creek so I cut saplings and fallen tree limbs with the chainsaw then thorns and brush with the trimmer to be able to clear all the wet piled leaves out of the fence with a rake. That wore me slap out. Tomorrow I need to tie the posts to nearby trees so the fence will remain straight. Got the broken waterline fixed since the plumbers were able to arrive today thankfully.

Once the party is over you can set up a hog shooting station and start stocking the freezer.  🐖🐖🐖

Didn’t get to shoot yesterday, tho’ the sun was out and about 70* with no wind. I closed the deal on the new mower, Hustler FasTrak 54”. Also my boots came in at Grainger, so I made a round trip picking both up. We’ve got some rain coming the next 2-3 days so I went ahead and mowed- 3.5 acres in 2.1 hours. And some of that was messing with the features on the mower, roll bar (up, or down?), etc. So I cut my time almost in half, definitely can be done in less than 2 hours now. Also, love the new boots, Reebok Fusion Max, like wearing sneakers. I won’t be wearing them to work.

HaHa! It’s that time of year I guess. I was supposed to get the 60”, I’m glad I didn’t. Some obstacles I have would’ve added line trimmer time I didn’t want. The one I traded was a 54”, but this one is way more comfortable and efficient. Ultimately cut my time in almost half, more time to be used shooting.

The last three days I spent working on the Motorcycles with a grandson.
 We swapped the tins, handlebars and risers, differentials and rear brake cylinders, wheels, shocks. windshield, sissy bar, Kuryakyn run turn brake module and signal lenses with deep dis bezels, Scorpio alarm system and swapped carburetor and exhaust from the 1st to 2nd bike. We cleaned and polished as we went. We changed the ignition, helmet lock, and gas cap on the 1st one back to original so the key would match the fork lock (I had lost a key in my work parking lot so I had changed them), Cleaned the Carburetor and installed Vance and Hines Big Shots.

 I did all this because my first VTX had no third or fourth gear and I didn't feel like I could remove and tear-down the whole motor and trans to fix it and a shop charges more than it would be worth for this 2005 bike and I wanted to retain my custom paint and parts.

 Doing the swap of my custom parts was cheap after selling the 1st bike, I was going to sell it cheap and the grandson decided for a mere $600 which he could easily recover by selling a few parts off it he wanted it. There is no doubt in my mind that doing the swap would have been a lot faster and easier to do by myself, because we were sharing my tools which meant it seemed like most of the time one of us was waiting for tools or looking for tools and bolts and nuts (arghhh, LOL). It was good to spend the time and work with him though. I would have done things in a much more orderly manner; he likes to jump around and get 5 things started before finishing one which drove me crazy! I like to start and finish one thing at a time. It was an extreme exercise of patience for me, but worth it.

Catching up on cleaning up the yard. Letting the dogs rat hunt while I clean up scattered and crushed chicken pens. I noticed eggs were starting disappear again so the hiding places were up ended and the dogs had at it. It doesn't take but a second and I am one less rat.

Thanks, the back, hips, and hands hurt a lot but the pain is worth it because of the satisfaction of being active and accomplishing it.

i did the same, after picking up all the branches.  then the neighbor dethatched the yard and i bagged it.  then he aerated the yard for me.  afterwards i hung a birdhouse for the finches, prepped the bicycle and fishing gear and took a ride down to the lake.  caught a fat 12" black bass and rode for another 6 miles before returning home.  set out some water filled pill bottles and just as i was about to load a .22 w/c in the NP2, the neighbor behind us came out.

I overhauled my wife's adult tricycle.  I put new brake calipers on the front brake and rebuilt the brake lever and cable.  The rear band-brake is very stiff but it works (sort of).  I want to put an electric motor on it soon.  Then I pedaled down the street and back.  Now I'm going to build a stake bed for the trike so she can haul the dogs around.  I'm thinking this thing might work for going hunting.  Electric motor, Fat tires, hang a couple of rifle racks on it.  This thing can haul some serious freight!

I have lights on the back patio and flood lights brighten the yard up too. Looks really pretty at night. I'd post a pic but some things I like to keep private.

Nice looking mower John. Good looking place you have there too. Anything over 54" and I start having fitment issues between obstacles. Freakin rain today prevented me from mowing a section of high grass I'd been letting dry out the past several days to prevent nearly getting stuck and tearing up the yard again.

The lawn shop had a sale today so I scored a new weed eater and whipped the place into shape. Still had a lot of overgrown weeds and bushes too which the new wacker made quick work of despite some branches near 1/2".  Much faster with it than the electric wacker it replaced. Bought a new microwave since the previous only lasted just outside warranty(GE brand) which I did not buy again. Hoping to have better luck with the LG that had a lot of good reviews. Backed up some pictures so I won't lose them the next time my pc crashes.

Made a run to Costco this morning for toilet paper.   SCORE!

Headed to wallyworld after that and picked up a few more things that were needed.  I was home for a bit and then I made a delivery to my parents on the way into work.  I'll be here until 11pm tomorrow (Saturday).  Another marathon shift at work. 

So in the meantime when it's quiet I'll be surfing the forums, watching YouTube, reading books, doing body weight exercises and eating.  Ha ha!  Looking forward to the weekend!
