Got to change out another throttle body on my 2003 GMC Sierra. OEM went out at 135,000 miles, the rebuilt one didn't last but about 70k. Thank goodness it's a quick replacement. And my son has one in his shop. Fingers crossed it's still good.
Quote from: avator on February 08, 2020, 01:41:18 PMHooking up this wireless rear view camera in the RV. Works pretty good. The 7" monitor has two channels. One for the camera (wireless or direct) and AV2 for a DVD player if you so choose. I had to wire the player and the camera so they each plug into power outlets (cig lighters). I have two sources on the dash and one in the rear of the RV for the camera. This is the system I bought and so far, I'm liking where it's going.https://www.walmart.com/ip/Wireless-Waterproof-Vehicle-Backup-Camera-Kit-7-HD-Car-Rear-View-Monitor-Back-Up-Camera-for-RV-Truck-Trailer-Camper-Motorhome/606499354?comm-msg-vehicle=EMAIL&comm-msg-id=fb3bf0fa-f685-4b8a-a4da-182f4c852b88It is water proof but I'm still mounting the camera inside and looking out the rear window.Chicken, that is what mirrors and guessing are for. In all seriousness, find a big parking lot and practice with the way it handles and use your mirrors, behind you is great but you still need to see your sides for a lot of reasons. Traffic cones are cheap, vehicle repair isn't. Use spot mirrors for the blind spots, you would be surprised at how many drivers sit in blind spots. Also use one for overhead as well so you don't lose the AC unit on top. I use one to keep from yanking down phone and power lines. This is just help you avoid more annoying days ahead, you are driving something bigger, longer, and heavier than what you normally drive. I want you and Betty Lou to make to the fun shoot in one piece.

The camera was installed so we can keep an eye on the trailer and 4 wheelers or the boat when towing. You can't see either in the mirrors. When we get to the ATV park we will unload the wheelers and drop the trailer in the parking area before we move the RV to the campsite. As far as the fun shoot.... the location is maybe 1/4 mile from our home. I am thinking about taking the RV so we can hang out with ya'll after hours and keep an eye on things that will be left setup over night.Betty Lou got the bathroom cleaned... she did a real good job.... as usual. Afterwards, we hung out watching old westerns on the TV and had a few beers. Her, Rambo and I ended up sleeping in it last night. All of us were totally comfortable. Rambo shoved me out of the queen size bed and I ended up sleeping half the night on the fold out sofa. Betty Lou plans to do the fridge, stove, microwave and upper sleeping birth today while I work on outside stuff.
Doc Marten work boots are the best for stomping around on concrete floors all day. Spend a little and take care of your feet.

I usually have to buy a size above my foot since I hate my toes feeling smashed as most shoes and boots do not have free space above the toes to prevent ingrown pain.

Those of you who work on electronics know the smell I'm talking about: fried insulation and cooked resistors.Skeets: sh__can those shoes and get yourself some Keens. Plenty wide enough, great arch support, and outlast just about everything.Between all the automatic lights my dad installed in out house, we found the same issue. It traced to the front bathroom light switch, you pull the pannel off and IT IS BLACK from burning/smoke over years of not noticing( or it happened after we changed other switches and got bad real fast) it was its own funny unit, which reminds me of outdoor outlets/housings but was burried behind drywall...The shoes were owed to me, as a chrismas present last Year. Me and my dad were supposed to get new shoes... all year we went to places and he complained ect... finaly ended up at cabellas for something and he randomly looked and found shoes. Figured i better look too since they are payin for them lol. Found a pair, but i ended up having to pay for them cause my dads jackbudonkey attitude. They fit well, steel toe, but have no arc support. Look at soles everywhere including walmart. Nothings fits the bill.... found a pair similar to the ones in my old shoes but still missing a bit of support.... any attempt today at trying to ghetto(sorry if the terms offensive to some) an arch in the shoes, the left foot/shoe does not want to cooperate!

Picked up limbs/twigs in part of the yard, raked the same areas, burned the wood and some extra wood from the shop. Fire is still going and I’m eating cake and tea. Thinking about heading back out and shooting some airguns at cans and enjoying the sunny 48 degree day.

When you are done with your yard you can come clean up mine. Will have us a big bon fire and plenty of your favorite beer or whatever you fancy and all the air guns you can handle, drool over, and shoot.

She is, seriously. Her dad is in Leesburg (central) and it’s probably time to make a visit. I love it there but it’s sooooo flat! Ha ha! If we were closer my whole clan could show up and we could bust out that yard cleanup of yours in a fraction of the time it takes one person to do it. Many hands makes light work. We are easy, some pizza and lemonade is all it takes to keep us satisfied and fueled up and we love bon fires! 🔥
