Went to work, plowed snow for 4 hours, cut firewood, now kicked back in the lazy-boy 

When I was in the Army at Ft Drum those of us with military drivers license had to go and do a class on snow plowing. I didnt want to do it because you would plow snow all night then have a full duty day the next day. So when it was my turn to get in the LMTV I pinned it to the wood got to about 30 mph dropped the plow in 18" of snow and ripped the air brake. I lost my military DL and didn't have to plow snow, publicly I got my 4th point of contact chewed but in private my squad leader could not stop laughing about it.

I tried to lose my Military 404s ( Drivers license ) all the time.. I drove a few into the ditch. I drifted a MLVW ( Our Duce ) On the parade square in the winter, and around the round abouts. But I was one of the very few qualified

It was like 5am. Well the tires on them are like Hockey Pucks. Crappy on ice, But they do go thru alot of snow. Still remember the ladies face when I hit black ice and the back end swung out. The women behind me was going to pass me because I started to fish tail, and I just waved as I was going sideways down the highway. I finally hit some dry patch and got the truck back driving straight.

They put a Armory ( my work ) in the heart of Halifax Nova Scotia. So used to have drive them in rush hour and such. And to get them in. You had to stop in the 3rd lane away from the entrance, get someone to block 2 lanes of traffic, and try and squeeze them thru. But when didn't have someone too block, had to use the truck. Always get those few that try and say screw it. You always win in an accident. Then when you get the nose in, had to fold in the mirrors, which also blocked pedestrians. Hatted when I was in Garrison.

And if I was out in the field, and didn't work, I just get it stuck, play a little recovery.

Staying inside with the wind blowing, just don't need another round of this cold again. This past weekend's weather brought me more tree headache. Another pine has come down, this time a live one, the top snapped completely out of it. I didn't even hear it come down. It didn't hit anything just trashed up the yard as usual. This is going to be a long term thing for the next few years with the pines. So many are stressed out that you don't know it until they die or fall over while alive.

Had a tractor given to me and I went and brought it home. It needs fixing it runs good but the clutch is not working properly. It was near these dinosaurs.

Kris, I hope you don't lose any more trees- you've certainly dealt with enough tree and yard problems to last a lifetime!

I sorta did a little airgun-related stuff- if you count finding 6 missing tins of .22 pellets.  Now I have at least 25 different types of pellets and slugs.

Otherwise, I worked... and just filled out an application for a Rental; SWMBO and I are separating but things are very agreeable and we're both in a good place.  Hopefully I can score the rental home.  It has nobody behind it for a good little ways, lots of trees, and I saw a couple prime locations for attracting chickadees and cardinals.  And of course, my nemesis.

Took the day off to go to the dentist. Gonna see if something can be done to make this upper plate work better or get fitted for a new one. The appointment being mid day made trying to go to work before and after useless.

What is really bad is this tree made it through the storm and the bugs. Most of these on my property have the Fusiform Rust fungus in them so they are already weak before the storm came. The storm has spread a lot of invasive plants, bugs, and diseases. I am back to square one with the property again. I know that the pines here are doomed one way or another. I have small hardwoods that have volunteered on my property and I am letting those take hold. I am planting fruit trees that are fast growing and will provide shade and fruit in the summer months. I don't want to clear off to much because it does break the wind some and keep some privacy here as well.  The vegetation is in for the long haul for recovery. It will be at least 20 years or more to have some normalcy around here again.

Yep, been there, done that. I have managed not to break any more teeth this past year, unfortunately I am still paying on the last escapade.

Apartments aren't necessarily all that bad, UNLESS you have a downstairs apartment and ANYONE living above you!

Wishing that I could go outside and shoot.  The daylight is gone, it’s wet out and I want to shoot farther than 20 yards but don’t want to set it up so, I’m here lying on a heating pad and surfing the forums.   I may just head over to YouTube and watch some airgunning and R/C stuff.

So you don't have any way to shoot indoors?   My indoor *range* is the central hallway.  Only 10 meters, unless I move my bed... then it would be ~15 yards.

However, that just isn't feasible right now.
