Yes, guys I am still alive, manage to crawl under the tractor yesterday, it did me some good to get outside for a little bit, I am far from being over it but doing better.

Thanks Brett, I managed to get the tractor up and running this morning. I did all the wimping earlier this week, I can only stand to stay in bed for so long, after that it's do or die.

Skeeter same thing happened to my elderly uncle when we were in a grocery store together once back in the late 80s but this idjit hit my uncle twice in different parts of the store so my uncle who was visiting from Chicago yelled at her where everyone in the store heard him shout "Stop bumping into people with your cart you dumb broad!" She just stood there with a frown on her stupid face saying nothing. We all got a good laugh out of that afterward in the car on the way home and many times over the years since. He was trip. Ooh I swear no pun was intended there.

Why did she shove the cart into your leg? Was she mad at you for some reason or just hapless like the one with my uncle?

Ok, just a thought here.... I just can't imagine anything I'd want to grab out of an old lady's cart...
I clearly remember my Grandmother sending me to her top dresser drawer for a candy bar because I was 'such a good boy'... well, I didn't come out of the bathroom for 24 hours afterwards.

Got up at 3 AM, flew to Charlotte, then to Fort Lauderdale. I'm bouncing around south Florida this week, Broward County to Key West and back. No airguns till Friday evening, or more likely Saturday.

Gotta figure out what I'll end up doing with my Maximus and Varmint. Was gonna use as raffle items for the funshoot but that's looking like it won't happen.

Finished up a 7 days straight run at work yesterday with all intentions of continuing right on through to next weekend. When I got out of bed this morning my body had other ideas.
The wet weather and hours spent this past week on concrete floors and up and down from the seat of a forklift while trying to do my part with the bi-annual inventory at work has set my knees and back on fire. So far this morning my only relief has come from sitting in the recliner with feet elevated.

Now that the rain has let up, I took up all the sandbags that were in front of the garage.... wet sand is heavy!

This morning in the dark on the drive into work, I crested a rise and hit something resembling a sand bag. No time to react... Well, it was a car seat, not a child's car seat, but an actual seat out of a car!!! Wedged in place under the transfer case skid plate.

I have Monday’s off. Woke up to a dusting of snow. Ate blueberry muffins and a latte while staring out the window. Getting ready to head up the hill to a park/lake to walk around the paved trail. I’m hoping to get motivated to head out later on a trail run. Work called this morning and is putting on extra shifts for swing and grave. I jumped on the grave shift that way I will already be there for work tomorrow morning to avoid the commute. They say more snow is coming. This place shuts down if we get too much more than what you see pictured. If the snow does come, I hope it doesn’t create too many power outages. I don’t want our customers to be without power for too long if ever.

Snaked my sewer *again*...

At least I was able to use the toilet, wash clothes and dishes and take a shower for the first time in days.

Also bought my own sewer snake as renting them gets nearly as expensive as calling a plumber.

I worked.

Then got stuck in traffic... Arrived at my hotel, found out my room wasn't ready, so I sat in my rental and watched YouTube videos. Checked in once the room was ready, watched the sun set, had UberEats deliver Cuban food from a food truck (LOL).

Tomorrow is a long day but I get to spend the night in Marathon in the FL Keys. Things ain't so bad.

Gross, new appliances are not what they used to be. When my mother and step father moved they bought a new oven, fridge, washer and dryer. Well the oven is less than impressive. ( according to a thermometer its correct but not worthy for cooking ) the fridge handle falls off all the time. The washer crapped out in a couple years.

When I bought my place. Went and bought a pawn shop 80$ ( Inglis Made guns for the Canadian Forces in WW2 ) Fridge, that's going on over 3 years now, I was given a free washer and dryer. Both doing well.

I do some work in 010 hex editor. I write scripts and templates for various things.
I came across a bug in the program, changed my code several times and found it's not me!

Woke up, had coffee, worked on cleaning the shop, dropped off some stuff at a co-workers house, ran a child to another town to do some work, got home, grabbed my things and headed into work, at work now until 11 pm.

I think I found the *fix* for my sewer problems. Toilet paper ONLY goes into a 5 gallon bucket with a cheap plastic bag lining it. (And it DOES have a tight fitting lid!)

So far... so good... (heavy sigh)

And no, I am not on a septic tank. City sewerage, but the problem is the plumbing under my house and I don't have the money to do a complete redo of that...
