SICK! 6 days of this epic coughing. Doing better today and not coughing. I don't think I could take another day of that mess. I went to co-worker's Christmas eve lunch and one of the youngins had the bug, 2 days later I am down with it. My immune is already fouled up enough as it is and didn't need this to send it into red alert.

That’s terrible.  Just hope it’s not the same thing we have/had.  Kids have been coughing since the end of September and I have had it since the beginning of October.  It still lingers and we get hit with a coughing bout once or twice a day.  It just won’t go away.  We feel fine it’s just the cough.  It was worse in the beginning and slowly lessens over time.  Hang in there and get your rest.

Thanks Brett, I am pretty much over the achy part, still coughing but not to the point of breaking ribs or throwing my back out. Actually this cold did do me a favor, with all the coughing I self adjusted some vertebrae and got the neck and arm pain gone. Had some pain in the left knee as well and that has subsided. This particular strain of bug has wiped people out for months at a time. It started popping up in the schools around here in late September and really took off before Thanksgiving. People are having rebounds from it as well, nasty little bug for sure. Been able to get it under control with the natural stuff and not wipe out the immune system in the process.

It seems Betty Lou and I got this thing as well.... for a while we blamed it on our smoking, which admittedly don't help matters but, it's more than just smoker's cough. For the past month or so we both wake up in the night hacking up flem. It also seems that when I get a bit too warm it triggers the coughing spells.

Today is receipt day.
I have to go through all my receipts, write notations on them, and correlate everything to my mileage logs.
I also have a Crew on the way to California and have to be on stand by to help solve any issues they may encounter.
I'm also on call up in case a truck needs unloaded at our warehouse.

IF I get lucky? I may get the .50 back together and test it with the Cool 16+ inches of Donnyfl HUSH!

Finishing touches on my late '40s Mossberg 152 restoration project. Final sanding with 1200 wet / dry on the barrel-breech. The action bits and pieces are all cleaned and degreased with acetone for reblueing with Oxphoblue.

Well today been one of those days..

Had one of my gastrointestinal reflux disease flare up's. Always hits me at 4am, when it does.

Decided since I was up, to goto Walmart at 8am and get some cat litter. Went to my car and opened my door...GRRRR



Went down to the basement to get the hair dryer to dry out my car. Well cats are a holes. Make matters worst they just used the bathroom were the box was, on the mat. Couldn't hose it outside since it's freezing and put the hoses away.



So been cleaning that..

Wife comes down stairs super perturbed off. Guess the internet was cut off. She forgot to pay them, paid the wrong company by mistake. She works from home, and was working when they shut it off. They were saying that they want a payment today, but it won't be process for 3 days. Being I signed alot of forms. Always read the terms.

2 seconds looking. I went down to Section 5.1 of their terms and service. They have to give us 14 days notice. Guess they notified us on the 27th, which is only 9 days. Called back, told them they violated their own terms and service. Demand the internet be turned back on. And Payment be made Friday.

And still haven't fed the dogs. Both are still sleeping upstairs.

Oh and Veteran Affairs called.

Well Robert, you ain't the only one that forgot to pay a bill, I will just get stuck with a late fee. At least it was snow and no pouring rain all night. Got fangs cleaned, no broken teeth this time. Blood work this morning resulted in a bruised vein, the vampire that did it can't hit the broad side of a barn every time she does it. I try to get the other gal to do it with less problems. Yep, it's Monday.

Returned to work yesterday after our two week winter shutdown. Basically toured the plant a few times issuing orders to the team members and delegating tasks. Then our Korean HOD took us out for a Mexican lunch. Went home right after.
Today is the first full production day back after shutdown. Two weeks off is awesome but it sure spoils me. I was wishing I wasn't here by 10am. Toured the plant a couple times checking to see if the tasks I assigned yesterday were completed (they were) and made sure everyone was back into normal work mode.
My 3 weeks vacation for the year 2020 renewed today and I'm having trouble not using some of it already. Man, I need to retire!!

Lucky I read the terms and conditions, and found out they violated their own, by not giving us enough notice. 5mins later, internet back up.  Most of my bills are auto payment. So I cannot forget.

I hate blood work, even though I'm covered in Tattoos. Lucky the ladies at the blood clinic are gentle. Normally I'm a zombie when I go in. Its still too early in the AM, meds and such are not really in my system. Still got a slip to get a lead test. Totally forgot.

We drove up to Tyler and visited a friend in the LPOHC and while there, Mrs. Oldgringo had her scheduled semi-annual Pacemaker check-up.  She got a clean bell of health and we celebrated at Braum's with a double scoop Hot Fudge Sundaes on the way home.

Rob those litter boxes are way too full of land mines and could be why your cat tumped it over looking for any tiny clean spot remaining. I solved those issues with my cat by getting what must have been a big 20ga horse feeder for him to have a ton of space. He had a mansion for a bathroom. hehe

As for acid reflux Nexium 24hr works really well for me.

I don''t like sitting and watch the world go by, even if I hurt like the world is on fire. I fight with PsA on a daily basis and if I sit around to long I get more stoved up. I just grit teeth and push through it. I have a few days that the towel is thrown in and the body says enough for today.
