I am wearing shorts and tank and toe shoes, it's 75 here already this morning, haven't decide whether to hunt squirrel with a thermacell or go fishing and get wind burned.

 Windy and 42 degrees here on Wisconsin's east coast, that will change in a few hours perhaps.
 I may venture into the deep woods to look for the elusive whitetail later on

Only airgun dreams for me.  I’ll be doing a 32 hour stint at work so I won’t get off until 3pm Thursday afternoon.  I’ll have 8 off then head back in for one more 8 hour shift then I’ll be “off” for a weekend.  Most of the kids have been fighting colds/coughs and they were getting better.  Last couple days round 2 has come through and taken them out again.  Now I can feel it coming on and Michele texted me this morning and says she is feeling it coming on.  I guess our holiday/weekend will be chicken noodle soup and rest.  No thanksgiving dinner for us.  We were hosting and hate to cancel last minute.  We surely don’t want to pass this crud on to our guests.  To be continued....

Staying inside.  44*F with sustained winds of 20 mph with driving rain.  Was going to go into the woods but with the rain and wind, dead ash trees will be coming down all over. I don't want to be hit by one so staying home.  Lots of cleaning to do before all the family descends on my tiny house on Thursday.

Yesterday I covered up our swamp cooler and window air-conditioners to keep the cold drafts out of the house and heat in for "winter".  I expect rain to start anytime now and be rainy through Friday. High temps are going to be mid 50's through Saturday and 61 Sunday, so much for sunny CA. LOL

It looks like we will get between 10% and 15% of our annual rainfall in the next three days.

Our extended forecast shows high' of 70 just a couple of days until Jan 3 2020 the rest is predicted in the 60's.

I know most places have MUCH worse weather but I just got use to years here where I took my motorcycle for a ride every Thanksgiving and New Years day with a T shirt and it was mid to high 70's at least. On Nov 6th it got to 94, so this is a transition.

I may still take the motorcycle out in the rain tomorrow afternoon for a little ride. I just have to see if I can get it done after the big meal. I have rain gear and it feels neglected,  . My motorcycle needs a good wash already so it won't hurt it to get wet, it's not filthy but it's also not spotless. Maybe I won't because I already messed up my tradition last year because I was sick with a cold.

To hot to hunt and blowing a gale to fish, so it was back to cleaning up the yard. Sitting here having a small fire and beer.

Went out to the garage to smoke.  Found a Female Pit Bull in the garage snooping Zoey's doog food bag!
 It cowarded down, didn't run out the OH garage door.
 She isn't in the best shape but but not terrible. Cut on her nose and left hind quarter is raw... ribs and spine showing.
BUT her teets are HUGE, she has pups somewhere, but wont leave.
 She warmed right up to me, seems to be a good dog.
  Hoosier Momma posted on face book hoping someone is looking for her, but I know this scenario. Been living out here for 45 years, it is not as common as it used to be but...
 Someone dumped her.
Something about the holidays... people think taking their dog to the country and leaving it is better than taking it to the humane shelter.
 "Stray" is now on a rug in the garage and Zoey is inside but KNOWS there is another dog out there.
 I do not need another mouth to feed, but dang I am a softy.

 Just was out the door to get something from the truck, what I saw on the other side was a stray probably feral kitten, looks to be of the lineage of a 2 yr old feral we took in when she was a kitten... to be continued if I can catch it lol.
 Stayed out of the woods but on a 1 hour road trip I did spot over a dozen whitetail on the down wind sides of a few 40+ acre woods.

Zoey (the De-Oh-Gee) and I went to town... came home and she is still here.
 The two have met... sniffed noses and tails waggin. 
Calling her Beuhla,,,, as in "Raputa the Beuhla".
Sorry to the "kids" that won't get that reference.

Got up for work yesterday.... sick. I went in anyways but only made it one hour before I had to come home. Went to bed at 9:00 am only to get up for bathroom. Finally came out of the bedroom at 6:00 this morning. Still really fogging and sore from coughing. I don't know if it's over yet. Betty Lou is working on the Holiday meal. I suppose it would smell better if I wasn't sick. I have until Monday to get over it.
Tomorrow I will take delivery on the winch for the Kodiak and a pair of over the wheels tool/storage boxes for the trailer.

 Bad cough, runny nose going around this house too, but that is the only symptoms.

Beuhla was still in the garage curled up on a rug this morning, door was left open all night so she could leave.
 Greeted me with a tail wag and then laid back down. 9:00 and still here even though it is a MUCH nicer day outside.
Looks like she isn't going any where willfully.

Thanks guys.... feeling better and better as time goes by. I showered, which always makes one feel better, and stepped outside and fired 3 mags of 16 out of the new PX4 pistol. Shoots about 1/2 to the right at 10' with Daisy wads.
Sun is shining so I may get out and walk a little more before peanut butter/jelly time.

Kabota dug it, Dakota snatched it out. The picture is after I got the ton of dirt off of it so I could saw it up in to manageable pieces. I wanted this one gone because it was an eye sore and there was a hole from the 650J trying to push it over last year. Want  to get that ground leveled back out so I could mow the grass. The shooting part was in reference to shooting a turkey, I sent that pic to a friend and told him I shot it this morning and was roasting it tonight and wished him a Happy Thanksgiving, he is in the land clearing biz.
