Had a slow steady rain all day yesterday. That should make some fun puddles and keep the dust down. I think I've got a helmet cam rigged up so we'll see how that goes. I also downloaded OpenShot video editor for producing the videos that we may or may not get.Geneva State Forest is not near as fun as Boggs or Southern Ridge but, play funds are a little tight this weekend but it's only $3 as opposed to $30 - $35 each. GSF has some nice flat trail riding. Next weekend SR will be hosting the Halloween events and we plan to attend. They say there are gators in the lake at GSF but we haven't seen any in the handful of times we've been there.
I got to spend some time with my Grandson and started refurbishing an older Aluminum atv/snowmachine trailer. The wood was getting pretty rotten, but the rest of the trailer is in pretty good shape. Going to replace the lighting though with LED's while I am at it!

Clearing paths for the equipment to get in the yard to clear out the dead trees. I was spared Nestor's wrath and only ended up with a few branches on the ground. I'm dealing with beetle killed trees. The joys of dealing with hurricane damage.

It’s good to see an AK shooter here. I’m FROM Alaska. Born in Anchorage. Spent the first 8 years of my life there. We were in the Wasilla/Palmer area until ‘80 when my parents relocated to WA State. I still have a fondness for Alaska in my heart in case you couldn’t tell. I haven’t been back in years. My dad and uncle lived in Eagle River during their school years. Enjoy your trailer project with your grandson!

If I don't get these down I will be homeless. I will probably take the live ones down as well that are in range of the house, the beetles will find them in the end.

I have about 50 acres of woods and 50% of it is ash trees. Most of those are dead or dying from the emerald ash borer. Cutting them for firewood -- free to those who need it. 7 pickup loads given out already this month.
