Mowed the dog's fenced section of the backyard. Was getting dangerous to walk, since it was getting hard to spot the land mines.

I put new traps for the yellow jackets. I also got the spray with the longest reach and sprayed the side of the house, that I seen the most yellow jackets. The window guy was like, yeah I'm not going up there, I said. I don't expect you either.

I mowed the front yard... all 2 acres. Hopefully for the last time this year.
Then I took the "De-Oh-Gee" for a nice long walk on her favorite park trails.
So soothing.....  All in all, a good day after work.

This was a small 64x30' section. Grows fast compared to the rest. I won't do the rest till the final mow.

argh, I was out of town this week and my GF's daughter's BF wanted to change his oil at my place since I have all the tools.  This morning I walk out and there is literally oil spots all the way up my driveway.  At least 14 flags of concrete now need power washing.  So I'm going out now and will still be washing tomorrow.  Fun.  NOT!

I can promise you... I wouldn't be the one washing those. There would be a bucket and scrub brush waiting for him on his next visit. Better have a look to see if you still have tools.

Today was another crazy work day.  Most of the day conversing with so-called IT professionals.  Hiow's it an ex-Navy diesel mechanic/hydraulics wiz can figure out some DNS stuff and a buncha punks with degrees and certs can't- instead they point fingers and play ring-around-the-server with the Not Me Ghost.

Closed on the house in VB today, then SWMBO and I went out and grabbed some grub at a Caribbean joint.  Ox-Tail for me and Red Snapper for her.  Came back home and I've working on some short stories and listening to some tunes- good mental-health recovery from the insanity of work.

Well, I did shoot 8 pellets out of my Wildcat today.  Aside from that I painted 2 exterior light fixtures and one post that one of those fixtures mounts to.  They look so much better having been refreshed.  It’s all in the details...

Betty Lou and I ran to Andalusia, about 30 miles south. We stopped and ate at the Hilltop Meat Co. She had ribs, I had a shrimp po boy. Honestly, both were a bit greasy. Decided to stop at Jackson Honda and see if the had any used 4 wheelers. No used ones so we ended up buying a new one.
2019 Rancher 420. Had to drive back home and get the trailer. 2 round trips pretty much spent the whole day.
This morning we're loading up both wheelers and headed for Geneva State Forrest for some riding.
