Well about three weeks ago I fell off my porch broke my ankle and twisted my knee real bad.... and then this Wednesday I had another heart attack and had two more stents put in my heart ..that makes 5 now...Looks like I’m getting out of the hospital today...It’s amazing what they can do nowadaysit’s no fun getting old!!!

Just ordered 100 feet of fiberglass window screen, spline and an installation tool.I shot out of my windows a few too many times without remembering to take the screen out first... (chuckle)Yeah, I know 100 feet is a lot, but I will probably use it and it was a MUCH better deal than buying the smaller amounts.

LOL!Yeah, it is MUCH more than I need... right now. But, I have friends and neighbors who will probably be using some of it as well. Not to mention, for the price, it was a MUCH better deal to get 100' than to just buy enough for one window.In any case, I don't think I will have to worry about buying any more screen for the remainder of my life. (chuckle)However, I probably will have to buy more spline at some time down the road. Then again, maybe not.

I have been looking for a bandsaw with a 6" cut or more, thought I had one lined up until the guy called and said that the girl friend quoted the wrong price. It was a craftsman 12" tilt head that was made in the mid 80's and lately everybody thinks these are gold for some reason. He wouldn't even tell me what wanted for it. On top of the that 2 days worth of message tag on messenger with her. I have just about decided to save up what I can and just go get a new one and be done with the silly selling games, I thought CL was bad, obviously FB market is no better.

Put about a dozen of those brass anchors into my custom work desk for accessories underneath. They take about 5 times longer to use than just shoving a wood screw in, but I like them so much, that I used them. I got bitten a long time ago with accessories on a cheaper desk, so here I am using them even on this hard sugar maple. They go in pretty fast once you gather all the little tools and have made a little jig for putting them in.
