TV? What is that, I got rid of mine 12 years ago and haven't missed either. I would rather be outside doing something productive and not watching something destructive. I have enough destruction around here so why watch more. Especially the weather channel with all it's drama fairies running around like it's Armageddon.

Nice screwdriver rack. I am in the process of cleaning out my shop to get the woodworking stuff back up and running.

There is always a TV on somewhere in the house.... don't mean I'm watching it. It's like looking out a window only, I can control what's happening out there with the click of a button.

Busted my hump all day at work.
Production machine went down late last night... BAD
I was there at 6:30 an evaluated the situation and got parts coming over night air.
Then tore the extruder apart and got it all ready to reassemble tomorrow when the parts arrive.
I am gonna be sore in the morning but have to "suc it up Buttercup" to get that machine assembled with the new parts to run production by 3:00pm for customer requirements.

Argued with Koreans all day.... through an interpreter. I'm sure they were saying more than the interpreter was interpreting because what took them 5 minutes to say took her 20 seconds to translate to me.
The real kick in the pants is.... most of them know basic English. They just think it's a power thing not to speak to Americans directly.

That reminds me of the time I had a brand spanking new German Press, running a Nissan mold for the first time.
The German installers were still in house... The Japanese Customers were there for the run off.
They were jabbering back and forth in every langue but English.
I turned to the Plant President and said....
"I thought we didn't let these two talk since the war"
I got a laugh and a write up.

Soggy day at work, what else is new. Stiff and sore from sitting around all day. Not a sit at the desk person. Did manage spend some time with a new detail sander and worked on a walking stick that had been laying around in my office for a while.

Well, I did shoot today. My wife and 3rd daughter Heather went to watch a horse ha e a tumor removed. I guess they are normally uneventful but this one was not normal. The horse will be ok. We headed out for pizza since it was close to 7pm when they came home.

Ah, television. We haven’t had television for 25 years!!! Yeah, hard to believe it’s been that long. I definitely don’t miss it especially with the internet. YouTube or streaming an occasional movie is my form of motion picture entertainment. We have a small collection of family approved DVDs and/or Blu-ray discs.

Thanks for reminding me. We have MUCH cooler temps and a lot lower dew point/humidity, so I am heading out right now to mow.

Seems I remember a time in the not so distant past where everything I did in a day was airgun related....
And when the weekend finally promises less humidity, someone drops a car body in the paint tank at Hyundai shutting the plant down for 2 shifts yesterday. That downtime will now have to made up on Saturday.

Finished mowing in about 45 minutes, but decided to actually measure (with a tape measure) my "kill/safe shooting zones".

The short one was exactly 25 yards just like I had already thought and the long one was 54 yards with 35 yards marked by a stump in my neighbor's yard. He doesn't mind me shooting across/into that part of his yard, so I set 2 golf balls on the stump for when my new Nova Freedom .22 comes in. (grin)

Oops... there I go talking about AG stuff... (chuckle)

That will ruin anybody's weekend right there. Bill, I have seen my fair share of stupid lately at work, it will almost make you want to take sick leave just to stay alive.

Just ordered 100 feet of fiberglass window screen, spline and an installation tool.

I shot out of my windows a few too many times without remembering to take the screen out first... (chuckle)

Yeah, I know 100 feet is a lot, but I will probably use it and it was a MUCH better deal than buying the smaller amounts.

That is enough for about 20 to 30 windows. Do you do this often??

Replaced the pulley on the power steering pump in a Chevy Malibu. My wife was in the dentist parking lot when it failed Tuesday, leaving her with no power steering and, fortunately, no other damage. The plastic pulley cracked between some access holes (to get the pump off the engine) and the metal arbor of the pulley, resulting in it just spinning in place. It still had a little traction so we could get it into a better parking place while we considered the options.

As a tow would cost $100 and the garages were all booked for the next week and a half, I decided I might be able to do this one right where we left it in the parking lot. Using a loaner tool from Advance Auto, I was able to swap the new for the old without disconnecting any fluid lines yesterday evening. Literally three screws got me access to the front of the pulley and three bolts let me take the pump loose enough to clear the engine mount.

The puller went back to Advance Auto this morning and everything seems to be running fine.

wet saw needs new bearings so after ordering those i went for what was to be a "short" bicycle ride that ended up being 27 miles and took over 3 hours. i like visiting old graveyards and the rural area we live has some large and many very tiny ones. the length wasn't overdoing it, but i hadn't eaten anything yet and i was getting a bit shaky, and the last 4 miles was an incline into a quartering breeze.

I have been looking for a bandsaw with a 6" cut or more, thought I had one lined up until the guy called and said that the girl friend quoted the wrong price. It was a craftsman 12" tilt head that was made in the mid 80's and lately everybody thinks these are gold for some reason. He wouldn't even tell me what wanted for it. On top of the that 2 days worth of message tag on messenger with her. I have just about decided to save up what I can and just go get a new one and be done with the silly selling games, I thought CL was bad, obviously FB market is no better.

I've been selling (or trying to) on FB market this year. It can be very spotty.
