Waiting on chainsaw parts, add a new scroll saw to the shop, playing with new used drone and yes I have crashed a few times, waiting to see what the weather will do for the next few days-so much for my days off, and maybe, just maybe get to go fishing one day.

Kris.... our local TSC had the mini Propel Tunnel drone on sale for $10.. normally $30 something.. I grabbed one and it a zippy little dude. I got online and order a 6 battery usb charge and batteries for it. It takes 40 minutes to charge a battery so you can virtually fly it all day. No camera but it's fun to fly indoors or out.

Bill, I had to have a camera for tree damage inspection around the house. I have 2 that have met their demise one of which is threatening the house if I get an east or southeast wind later on. Half of this tree missed the house during the storm.
   I have 2 of the same drone, one is for parts or back up if the other dies. They are an older Parrot Bebop, the 3.0 version. Both are in excellent condition considering their age. Neither one of them had flight time over 10 minutes. I run them off my cell phone so there is no added accessories to deal with. Batteries are not that expensive either. So far the one has held up to my abuse. It does have a quick kill if the rotors are tangled up so that saves wear and tear on the blades. I try to keep it close for quick recovery. It's a really nice drone to start with. I am at $200 with both and replacement batteries. Not bad I would say considering how much these things can cost.

The mini is my 4th. The other three have cameras.... just cheapos but fun none the less.
The mini was an impulse buy.... Betty Lou saw it and tossed it in the shopping cart. She's a bigger enabler than I am.

He didn't like that I used the side discharge on my mower, instead of mulching.   With grass 3 feet high... (heavy sigh)

*I found an old screw jack I had robbed of an old minivan my daughter had and last week I had my son modify it so I can use it to jack up my zero turn mower to change the blades. Today I painted it to match my mower.

*This afternoon I watched a movie entitled,  I CAN ONLY IMAGINE.  Super movie.

*tonight I entered this week's target results into my journal.

I'll give my neighbor credit... he called me and apologized... well sort of... and told me he was happy to have a friend like me to help him.

I understand where he is coming from and appreciated his words.   Life is good.

3 feet high, mulching would bog that machine down.. Then he be buying you a new machine.

Watched rain most of the day, did get the yard mowed yesterday before wiping out a blade on a tree root, it's one I didn't know was there. The yard has turned into an obstacle course after the storm. Working on getting the rest of the pecan off the trailer so I can pick up more. My tree guy took another one down this week. That will keep me in scrolling wood for a while and some will be used for smoking fish. Other than that, just sitting here waiting to see what this storm system will turn into this week.

Wow! It was 101° in the shade today and that with 64% humidity it felt like it was much hotter.  I wouldn't have been able to do what you did today.

 I rode into town and saw our new quartz countertops . They were laying out the tops on the blank slabs and wanted us to verify that we liked the grain orientation.  Superb company to work with ! Next week our new kitchen might be finished 

Had a Baskin Robbins ice cream cone for a treat ! Yay me !

 Spent the day spraying weeds in between pumpkin rows, with the new improved spray rig I tossed together last spring. (takes bow}  i'll be here all week !

Funny how some people demand you to do a job for them so bad then you can't get them on the phone to schedule anything!

Back in the days of dial up internet I had a lady call me and tell me she couldn't get online. I asked her to try unplugging the connection and try again. She said she would call me back in 30 minutes.
I asked her why so long? She said she had to walk to the payphone on the corner to call me because her phone had been disconnected....

That pretty much explains the connection problem.

As for the unrelated air gun part, much of the day was shot due to the rain. Scroll saw was ready for pickup so I made the trip to maryhaha, fl to pick it up. On the way back stopped in blowntown, fl to get gas and diesel for vehicles, lawnmowers, and tractor. Stopped in the local store for some cherries and grapes to snack on and hit the hot food bar so I didn't have to cook tonight. Took the rest of the week off from work to watch the storm drown the gulf coast, oh joy.
